ASTROTHUNDER the feeling of falling asleep on a long car ride passing by a distant city, the feeling of waking up so early on a winter morning that its still dark and falling right back into sweet slumber, the feeling of going on midnight bus rides alone to absolutely nowhere and watching lights and street signs flash by, the feeling of being so tired your eyes wont stay open and every sound blends together into a perfect harmony as you fall asleep, the feeling of faint deja vu listening to old 80's music, the feeling of that melancholic nostalgia when you visit an old place.
I'd like to imagine this song to be the feeling an astronaut feels, looking back at the earth from far away, looking back at the place you've been your whole life, where all your friends and memories are, where all your greatest achievements took place, where your tiny life started and where it will inevitably end, the feeling of true peace, knowing that everything you've ever known is so miniscule to the scale of everything, truly being alone with your thoughts, processing the utterly unbelievable one of a kind, oddly lonely but soothing feeling. This song is truly an amazing feeling.

I remember when he released the album in the summer 2018. I was on a holiday in adriatic see. What a memory when I think about it. This instrumental, especially the outro reminds me off the deeps of a see sparkled with sunbeams. This album is nostalgic. So sad that most of Travis fans are recognized as 12 y/o Fortnite players and real fans who know to appreciate his works go under.

This song makes me reminisce and wish I could go back a few years and cherish his music a little more. Been one of my favorite artists for almost a decade and now i miss 2013-2018 not even his music but just the memories I had in those years, I would’ve never thought that we’d get hit with a year like 2020. I’m glad I found out about Travis the time I did and stuck with it and it’s crazy to see how far he’s gotten. It’s not really that deep but I wish I could go back in time especially 2016. I’m glad I cherished those years but oh well guess life moves on.

you wanna know why I love this song so much ? this song takes me to the summer of when it got released in what was the best day of my entire life, where I went to the beach together with my boys they all showed up and we had such a blast that day swimming diving doing all sorts of stuff of the beach, on the way back we were driving slowly and I was sitting right next to the window admiring the beach from a far on the sunset while listening to this song, it reminded me of just how great and amazing that day was and how much fun we all had, this year I will be graduating highschool and I'm currently on the most 7 stressful months I'll ever face but deep down I know that when all this is over and we get through it we will relive these same moments and you can bet your god damn ass which song I will be listening to on my way back again inshallah
