I agree that this young man would have been absolutely devastated after hearing about the untimely death of his all time hero but I also think that he would realize what an incredible opportunity he had to meet him in person and shoot hoops with him. After some time he would realize the deeper meaning of meeting Kobe and decide to dedicate his life doing good things for people less fortunate than himself just as Kobe did, by becoming a doctor, lawyer or social worker. Kobe Bryant had an infectious positive energy and undeniable charitable spirit which surpassed the incredible athletic prowess that he is recognized for and that will be his everlasting legacy.
