Minecraft was so great before it got invaded by every 12 year old on the planet.
The fact that the entire world was destructible was so new and fun, despite it being made of blocks.
When the game came out, Minecraft's image was a lot less childish and cartoony and a lot more "Woahhh retro 8-bit graphics awesome."
But seeing Minecraft now? It's almost annoying. The game is definitely still fun, but even hearing the name "Minecraft" makes me shudder now - because it's most often spoken from little kids or youtubers catering their content towards kids.
That's just me, though.
