I'm pretty sure that most of the people who say that they hate anime, or can't understand why someone would like anime, either haven't watched any anime at all, or only checked out about five different ones... Five isn't enough. There are many, many different animes with different genres. Most of the popular ones are all about action, and since mostly the popular ones are kind of everywhere, those are probably the ones you have heard about and decided to check out. Then it turns out you don't like those particular animes, and then you decide that all anime sucks. Well, maybe if you actually TRIED to find a genre you like from it, you'd actually fucking like it. Yeah, there ARE some pretty weird and messed up animes out there, and there are some bad ones as well. But, there are good ones out there too. You can't just judge ALL anime just from a few. There are good things and bad things about every anime, fandom, and just everything in general.

And everyone needs to stop judging people just because of what they like. It's stupid. You love it, or you hate it. Doesn't matter. Who cares. And people shouldn't judge a whole fandom just because they met a few who are stupid fangirls/fanboys who scream about every little thing, not all of them are like that. How can you not understand that, seriously?

And just because someone is American, English/Britsh or whatever, doesn't mean they have to or should watch anime in dubbed. Japanese is not gibberish, it's simply another language. Watching something in a different language can help you to learn that language, and some people find that interesting. Some dubs are pretty bad, and so are some subs, but who cares. People can like whatever the fuck they want, it shouldn't matter.
