ATTENTION!!!! This is completely normal for a pro ballerina. BUT I don’t recommend breaking the shoes this much for a beginner. Pro’s go thru so many a week they need to be broken in a soon as they get them but that also means that’s don’t last as long. If your a beginner and only doing a couple classes a week, DONT DO THIS!! So that your shoes can last a long time. U will naturally break them in.

Honestly, breaking in a new pair of shoes is great. I remember doing ballet and making them perfect just for me. Only downside is, no matter whatever you do to break in a shoe, you have to do often cause they don't last long. They wouldn't last long if you broke them in or not though, so might as well be comfortable.

I feel like most people in the comments don‘t realize that this is a complete normal procedure. Every dancer customizes their own shoe and what she does aren‘t even extreme things. I‘ce seen people who cut out half of the sole
