Th******:
I did not know him; I have never talked to him; I have not felt what he must have felt; I only saw things, he did, heard things, he said and read words others or he himself wrote on him. Does this vindicate my mourning his death? Yes!

Should I mourn the passing of numerous faceless, nameless others who died with him this instance? Yes and I do, every day.

Alas, more importantly, his grief and his demise and the grief and demise of others call out for our compassion and love lest their torment was in vane!

I wished I knew him, I wished I had talked to him, I wished, I had felt what he had felt, I wished, I had touched his soul as he had and has touched mine, so that I could allay his pangs, brighten his days and just give him comfort in my strong and loving embrace.

Do not walk by if you see somebody cry!
Do not walk by if you see somebody bleed!
Do not walk by if you see somebody starve!
Do not walk by if you see somebody who is a famous actor but feels alone in his heart, so alone, that he was willing to die in agony!

Reach out to your neighbour, let him and her, animal or human being, feel your love and empathy lest no-one must suffer and take his or her life alone!

Be the light, you want to see! Be the love, you want to receive! Be kind, social, modest, clement and act in the name of love.

This makes me cry. My heart broke when I heard of his death. I grew up watching all of his movies and I cannot tell you how many countless times he made me laugh or put a smile on my face. It's so unbelievably sad that a man who gave such joy to so many millions of people was battling something very dark and depressing. I hope and pray that Robin is at peace now. He will always be remembered!

iH**********************:

for a brief second Robin came back and possessed Jimmy

IB*******:
I hate that people call it the "cowards way out", you have to be very brave to take ones own life, The fear of the unknown in death is quite scary.

RD******:
jimmy about to cry I can see that

An***********:
You could tell he(Jimmy) was sincere.

DE********:

So Sad ! What a Guy, EVERYBODY loved Him, including Myself, R.I.P. There will never be another like Him .

As*********:
Rip Robin Williams your are and will always be one in a million

im************:

You never know what you've got til it's gone... I miss this man beyond belief.

Id***********:
we will never see another robin williams in our time

Bi*****:

Robin was the only person in the "cinema world"  that I truly loved and respected with all my heart. He was incredibly humble, genuine and kind. I won't ever be over the fact that he is not here anymore.

NE**************:

"He was the Muhammad Ali of comedy." And now we've lost Muhammad Ali too...a testament to his (Ali's) legacy is the fact that his name literally became synonymous with "the greatest." And Robin Williams certainly was "the greatest" of comedy, bar none.

All these legends are dropping like flies. Ali, Williams, Prince, David Bowie, etc.

zk*******:

Oh captain my captain you will be miss..

Sp*********:

My most favorite Robin William's moments are Flubber, Mrs. Doubtfire, Night at the Museum, Jack, and his appearances on Whose Line is it Anyway, PURE 24k GOLD

DD*****:
Whenever I see robin in a interview that he's dominating, I seem to notice a very small look of worry in his eyes. Maybe this is just me.

me*********:
I was fine until the "Oh captain, my captain" bit

Ca*************:
Jimmy's impression of robin is wonderful also creepy scary, he sounds so much like him. Wow.

Mi***************:

Jimmy almost lost it but contained himself.. Robin was a beautiful man. RIP

An***:

Be free Genie <3

ar************:

It still hurts as much today as it did on Aug 11, 2014.

Ka*****:

Robin was the kind of person who would light up a room the moment he walked in. He brought so much happiness, laughter and smiles to people in the end I wish he could have brought that to himself. Robin you will be greatly missed :_(

th*********:

He still doesn't seem like a guy that would commit suicide, I still can't believe the news. Sad.

Li**********:

"'O Captain, my Captain.' Who knows where that comes from? Anybody? Not a clue? It's from a poem by Walt Whitman about Mr. Abraham Lincoln. Now in this class you can either call me Mr. Keating, or if you're slightly more daring, O Captain, my Captain."

KA********:
O Captain! my Captain! our fearful trip is done,
The ship has weather’d every rack, the prize we sought is won,
The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting,
While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring;
But O heart! heart! heart!
O the bleeding drops of red,
Where on the deck my Captain lies,
Fallen cold and dead.

O Captain! my Captain! rise up and hear the bells;
Rise up—for you the flag is flung—for you the bugle trills,
For you bouquets and ribbon’d wreaths—for you the shores a-crowding,
For you they call, the swaying mass, their eager faces turning;
Here Captain! dear father!
This arm beneath your head!
It is some dream that on the deck,
You’ve fallen cold and dead.

My Captain does not answer, his lips are pale and still,
My father does not feel my arm, he has no pulse nor will,
The ship is anchor’d safe and sound, its voyage closed and done,
From fearful trip the victor ship comes in with object won;
Exult O shores, and ring O bells!
But I with mournful tread,
Walk the deck my Captain lies,
Fallen cold and dead.

It is so sad to think this applies to him. RIP captain.

Re***********:

Wow Jimmy Fallon's impression of Robin Williams was fucking brilliant.

Am**********:

Oh Captain, My Captain.

Or*************:

GOD WE WILL GIVE YOU BIEBER IF YOU GIVE US ROBIN

Sa********:
if any guest on a show did that now it'd be considered 100% cringe, but when Robin did it, it was hilarious.  I'm still so sad about this, and for people saying he 'doesn't deserve praise' cause he killed himself. 1. its ''suspected'' suicide and 2. I'm pretty dam sure if a close family member or friend of yours killed themselves you'd have hell to pay for anyone you heard saying negative things about them so SHUT THE HELL UP.
This man was amazing, A huge part of my childhood in terms of movies. From Genie of the lamp to the Leader of the lost boys in Neverland.
It takes a lot these days for me to find comedians/actors funny and Robin makes me laugh every single time.
He will be sorely missed, and without a doubt never. EVER forgotten.
Bangarang Robin Williams. R.I.P

ul*********:
At the beggining you can see jimmy wanted to cry so bad, and thats whats so sad about his death. You know you lived a good life you can make a grown man cry because of your death. Robin was one of the best, funniest, and most nicest people ever. And even though this is a shitty and dark world, he was one of the few who made it less sucky and brought joy to mother earth. Something not just anyone can do. Im
Tearing up because i grew up with his stuff. and i wish he could of lived more, just alittle more so that he could see This world being a better place and how he was one of the ones who were the cause of it: Rest in peace Rob's

De*****:
I just finished watching Aladdin for the first time since I was a kid and I cried through most of it. I still can't believe that it's true. the day Robin passed, I drove to Hollywood to pay my respects at his Star on the Hollywood walk of fame. There was a pain in everyone's eyes that were there. I still can't can't get over the fact that he is no longer with us. I had been looking forward to his next tour because I so badly wanted to watch him.
Oh Captain my Captain...you will FOREVER BE MISSED!
