Playtime Comments : [TEDx Talks] How waking up every day at 4.30am can change your life | Filipe Castro Matos | TEDxAUBG

An******:

Irony- I'm watching this video at 4:30 am after waking up whole night.

Ha****:
SUMMARY:
- He got the idea from a newspaper saying most successful CEOs wake up early.
- Why 21 days? because it's the right amount of time to form a new habit.
- 12 things I (he) learnt from this:
>>5:28 Find support along the way to push you forward.
>>5:55 People like to see different things.
>>6:12 No! You don't need to sleep less.
>>6:43 Get rid of your obstacles.
>>7:01 Healthy life = good sleep.
>>7:34 Forget snooze!!! ( you're wasting your time and studies say you get more tired sleeping that time).
>>8:07 I(He) only needs 7/6 hours sleeping.
>>8:34 2 more hours working every day.
>>8:52 Get messages out of my(his) way.
>>9:19 More time at the gym. No excuses.
>>9:48 New view on the world.
>>10:09 You need the will to do it.
>>10:13 Make the world talk about YOU!
- 11:00 His point: take that extra mile, you may be surprised.
- 12:00 Think Different ... In every little thing.

His presentation was the perfect example of getting out of your comfort zone because when you do you learn

Zo*******:
Yeah i don't know. Respect to him, but he's not making any point here. Not inspiring, he was just lucky to get some attention with this.

My secret to whatever success I've had in life is listening and learning from wise people. This man is one of them.

Bo********:

He is a braver version of me giving Tedx

Ni********:

This is so good! I love that he is up there speaking with confidence. God is good!

Do**********:
Hey Mister " Native English", try to have 10 million views with your perfect accent !!!!

ki********:

He is a shy guy and also a stammerer.
There is nothing wrong with the English language being spoken. Thumbs up for you.
To get rid of your shyness, you need to speak to plenty audience, in fact everyday.
It will reduce your shyness or try joining the church choir. Start from somewhere before jumping into the spotlight.
Go boy

Jo************:

Huge respect to this guy. People, before you laugh or judge, just imagine yourself giving an important speech in another language you can't speak well. Always put yourself in someone else's shoes before you judge. Peace

Vi*****:
I don't think it was his nervousness or his accent that threw me off. does anyone else think the speakers or microphone was a little off?

I love how he talked about how his neighbors got inspired by him, and he decided to blog it and inspired even more! Also, the support he felt from the people around him being inspired by him I'm sure was very supportive! Also, I'm in love with sleep, so happy to know I don't have to sleep less haha

SEAMOS MASSSSSSSS!!

KL****:

Th****************:

telling me to wake up when i go to bed? hmm idk

no*****:

Never make fun of some one who speaks broken english... just remember they speak another language.

Re***:

Subtitles helped me understand everything he's saying.

A*:
Myth: Waking up early can change your life. Successful people wake up early so you should copy this habit and also become successful.

Waking up early gives you an extra of 1-2 hour of productivity.
If you don't accomplish anything productive in those 1-2hrs, waking up early is pointless.
It is not about waking up early... it is about being productive with your time.
You can wake up at 9am (or anytime), accomplish, be productive, get your 6-8hrs of sleep and be more successful than a person waking up early and not accomplishing anything.
