“..Uncle Ruckus!?”
Sa********:
They actually wanted to build a statue of this absolute chad, but they just didn't have enough material to build his gargantuan balls.
Al***************:
He’s actually skinny he just holds his massive steel balls under his shirt
It also shows some hypocrisy that is sometimes shown by some people.
"How can you hate me if you don't know me"
Daryl Davis applied this logic not only to race but to ideology too, and that is truly what tolerance should be.
Ch********:
Imagine throwing rocks at someone because of their skin colour.
Like seriously.

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.". MLK
MLK was a wise man. This is why we remember his contributions! There was a time I didn't embrace this philosophy. My inner cynic thought, not worth it, don't even speak to them. If you refuse to have the conversation, nothing changes.
We will make the world a better place together.
Ma**********:
"How can you hate me when you don't even know me."
Vi***:
He got up and went to talk with the CEO of racism
Ca***:
One thing that we need to keep in mind: we had two intelligent people discuss and exchange views. They both did not push for total agreement. They did not stay in their bubbles with attitude of "how dare you not agree with everyghing I say". And they did not try to convince the other side of discussion in one day.
People these day play safe, surround themselves with alike, and reject any occasion to exchange views with people that may not agree with them. Internet made it too easy to say anything without any risk of having to defend your opinion.

My notes
- "How can you hate me when you don't even know me"
- Ignorance to fear; fear to hatred; hatred to destruction
- Respect, listen, and try to understand even if you don't agree with each other
- Enemies talking are just talking. When the talk ends, the destruction starts.
Om******:
You can’t get rid of hate with hate. This man is amazing.
Ky*******:
This is so ridiculously fascinating.

"Hello yes, I would like to be friends with the CEO of Racism."
wi************:
why does this have dislikes this is the best ted talk i have seen on this site
El****************:
This is hands down. My favourite TED story
Ri***********:
They way people fight racism today does not work and is full of hate
This man right here is trying to be understanding and friendly and it shows
Ta****:
“Keep the conversation going” listen, learn, talk.” Simple yet seems so impossible for some.
Bl***:
This was probably one of the best and most motivational Ted Talks I’ve ever watched
Br***:
My respect for both of them. The pair of cojones you have to have for this is transcending. - Him for being in a rally, and the other to let him in among his brethren.
Wo****:
Now this is how you do it. You don’t silence, block, or “cancel” the hatred, you listen to them. Doesn’t mean you have to agree with them, just listen and observe what they believe. I live by this rule: there’s always a lesson that can be learned from anyone. No matter how bad or good the person is, there is ALWAYS a lesson to be learned from them, whether a lesson about not doing what they do or a lesson to be more like them in a certain way. Never write somebody off completely, sometimes just being available to listen can lower tension by amazing amounts.
