I watched this today, and it has one of the worst plots of any movie I've ever seen. The ending is not even an ending, and leaves you wondering wtf did I just watch. NOT worth the time and suspense leading up to that ending.

Looks like a good movie. But I have 1 question, why the heck are trailers so damn long and give so much of the movie away? (Okay that was 2 questions)

It ends with Forest Whitaker's heroic sacrifice. You know, the usual.

Netflix needs to fire the writers they hired for this film. Absolutely terrible. They never ever explain what was going on or why... which was the only reason I kept on watching until the end because everything else was as predictable as can be... father who wants to protect his daughter from the lead man who isn't even that bad. They go on an adventure to save his daughter/his lover and then get close because of it... No one had a decent motive for why they did anything in the film. No explanation for why the bad guys were bad or why the good guys were good. There was a build up which lead to nothing and it didn't come together in the end. It ended with them literally driving away with a volcano chasing them and the lead guy saying, "we're going to be okay." It was total garbage. Would highly discourage you from watching.
