Who ever has depression should listen to the lyrics to this bcuz it says to hold on and that the fog will clear up. This song really helped me because i suffer from depression at a young age (12) and it gives me hope that things will get better and I really want things to get better because I dont want to live like this 4ever I mean no one does it sucks having depression so I listen to this song to remind me that one day things will get better. i completely stopped my motions when he sang "being and feeling alone was too much to face".. and i listened to every single word afterwards. for a moment i couldnt believe how much i could relate to the lyrics. and of course, being the emotional wreck i am, i started bawling. i know how much people around me start to lose their faith and strength in themselves, including me. im 15 and a sophomore in high school. and during this age, thats when anxiety become your number one conflict. life around you starts to crumble and you feel like youre losing everyone and everything. things do get a little too much.. and you feel like giving up. but like shawn said, soon the fog will clear up. so for those who are dealing with the same problem as i am, "take my hand" and we'll get through this fog together. (: this song just pretty much summed up why i love shawn so much. he understands, he knows. and he shares his understandings with others through music. im so glad he became part of the music industry and he became well known. i needed this song. so thank you so much shawn mendes. you helped me rebuild my courage today. (: REMEMBER. everyone is beautiful. everyone is amazing in their own ways. and i sincerely apologize for this long ass paragraph. lol. x
