I could've sworn the battle of Brandywine happened before the battle of Trenton; which was in fact, a counterattack. Also, I thought the troops crossed the river on Christmas day, rather than Christmas eve. And you also neglected to mention that a British sympathizer saw the troops and tried to send the Hessians' leader a message that night, but he just put it in his pocket and completely forgot about it until after he was wounded in the following battle.

Edit: Scratch that first part. I was thinking of the battle of Long Island.
