The live-action version of Cinderella is my favorite of the remakes. The roles were all cast perfectly. Cate Blanchett added dimension to the evil stepmother so she wasn’t a run of the mill villain.

There’s not a single Disney Remake that I like better than the original, but the work they put into them is extremely admirable and should be appreciated.

I'm not into these Disney remakes but by god we're taking leaps when it comes to new movie effects thanks to these movies! So big props for that!

The behind-the-scenes are more magical to me than the actual movies. As much as I don't like the remakes (we all can agree that nothing will top the classics), I have to admit that the work behind them is fantastic

Him: They kept what everyone still liked about the origianal
Litterally everyone about the Lion King remake: OMG, its so realistic, OMG, it has no emotion, OMG, this had no effort, OMG, the audio is terrible ETC

many people think that belles dress wasn't impressive enough and that Emma Watson was overpaid for designing a historical wrong and so 'lame' dress, but I think it perfectly fits the Belle she portrayed. Cinderellas gown from the live-action movies was needed to make her stand out from everyone else because the prince liked her due to her look, Belle didn't need that since her and the Beast were also attracted to their personalities. I get the fantasy behind a majestic gown, but I like that Belles dress stands for being different from others - not because she reads books or desperatly tries to be different, but because she doesn't like a person because of their money or looks, like many other Disney characters do.
