this song is so beautiful, and together with the video, it really draws my heartstrings. I wish that the radio played more of M5's songs like Runaway, so more people would get to know this side of Maroon 5, a deeper, more emotional side instead of just the poppy played songs on the radio, which have made many misjudge M5. I have loved, love, and will always love Maroon 5, regardless of their stylistic changes, which just proves how flexible and talented the band is.

This song expresses exactly what happened to me two years ago. We broke up on a Monday morning. It didn't get to me until Wednesday exactly 4 a.m, when I realized what had actually happened. At that moment I knew what I wanted to say, so I messaged her. I also realized that maybe the break up was the best thing to do, but some things needed to be said and sorted out first. And the frustration that she may not respond to my message, not knowing if she had moved on for good or not. I looked at our memories not knowing what I would do to them, until I returned them back to her with a letter explaining that those memories were to painful to bare and she would know better on what to do with them then me.

And life goes on...
