Imagine when we get to the technology as to where the game is projected around you such that you truly believe you are in the video game. Like you wear a suit or whatever that pinpoints your proportions into the game, and projects the game around you. So like for this game, say walking in place would move your character forward, and within the projected game, motion effects are applied to make you think you are moving forward. Basically being in the video game, but not so in the video game as to where the Freddy creature can actually harm your physical body.

Imagine you go to sleep and when you wake up you’re in some house you’ve never seen before. You look outside and it’s still night. You begin walking around and randomly fall through the floor. You’re confused but then teleport back up. You start thinking: that’s strange.. You keep walking and exploring the house. As you’re passing a hall you hear loud metal on wood. You turn to face the hall and ignited freddy jumps at you. You scream but nobody else is in the house and then you just respawn. Then you’re just like: what the hell...

Ayo that would actually make a pretty good book though.
