Fa********:

I bought a $200 Civic cuz he didn’t know what was wrong and all we did was change the fuel pump and it’s good

bl*******:
a full on engine swap with instructions would kick ass. I watched many videos of engine swappings without getting told what actually gets done. It would be very nice interesting and informative. and thanks for all your other videos they are so cool and I learnt many things and I am less scared of operating on my car.

Ai***:
that poor guy is gonna watch this video and see he couldve gotten $400

Mo****************:
Please have this car updated to a modern but still basic daily driver with an emphasis on updating the mechanical aspects (so no electronic gadgetry other than the absolutely necessary). I think that'll be in theme with it's basic but fun origins.

ci**************:

I'd fix it and sell it back to the kid for the same price + parts. He seemed pretty bummed out at the end. He's obviously a fan, so why not celebrate 3 mil by giving back?

Bl*******:

This car actually cost either $1,000 or $300+3,000,000 subs

th**********:
You should do each video separate. Would be great for learning!

Et*****:

Me: applies for a Mechanic job
Employer: So, here it says you have a lot of experience in fixing cars but you have never been a mechanic before. Where did you get your experience?
Me: Mah driveway and ChrisFix

Mi***:
rear drum to disk conversion please!!

Lu**********:

Why is texas so expensive when it comes to used cars

Gr**********************:

Do the individual videos about head gasket replacement, the shifter bushings, drum to disc brakes, etc.

Va****************************************************************************************:

make it a sleeper

JI***:

That car needs a turbo. Get it pushing 200-250 hp on such a lightweight platform and you've got one hell of a fun summer car! A lot of easy fixes, and I don't recall seeing a 'how to turbo' video on your channel yet :D

Mr*****:

Chrisfix we need more driftstang videos. I really wanna watch more new things you do to your driftstang. Much love

Ya****:
Chris: Pulls up to pick up car

Car: Has chrisfix plate already installed LMAO

Wy***********:
Well you have the driftstang, you need a Honda “de corsa”. Full track car build

Dr****:

I like how Chris still likes comments even after 2 years

Ar***********:
Would love to see a drum to disk conversion

Do**********:

My brother and I currently own 3 Del Sol’s and we love them. We’ve learned a ton about them, and I’m so excited to see what you’ll do with yours. Mine was $500 with different problems than yours, but we’re kinda in the same boat. Our first Del sol ended up getting destroyed when an 18 wheeler came across the highway and hit my brother. He’s fine now, and the car makes a great parts car for our other cars. But for a few suggestions, swap the shifter for a short shifter when you do the shift bushings. They’re around $6 online and they’re great. You’ll have to pull the shifter anyway, so you may as well replace it if the previous owner didn’t already. Make sure to do valve stem seals when you do the head gasket because every Sol burns oil until you do this. You’ll figure that out if you replace the head gasket and it still blows some smoke. Better to do it at the same time. Since you have the 1.5 liter, there isn’t much to do for power, so keep it mostly stock. Anything you do will just lower its great fuel economy. Paint the manifold heat shield and valve cover and it makes a world of difference. Clean all the grounds in the engine bay as well. The most important one is behind the engine to the left on a water neck I believe. Speaking of which. Silicone radiator hoses are a great upgrade for longevity and appearance for around $28. Something else you’ll encounter is the roof leak. If you can make a video on how to fix that, you’ll be an idol to the Del Sol community. Have fun with your Sol man, and keep up the good work!

Wh**********:

I think Jinson was star struck...and sold it to you for $300....lol... I reckon $450 would have been fair....

Sk****************:
Just saying, he sold it to you because he knows you’re a Youtuber. He wanted to see his old car on the channel.

Uf********:
Make this car a track car

Ta******:

You're killin' it! Keep up the good work! Cheap cars are the best.
