Re**********:
I remember starting it by "red on dead"

El*******:
Thank you for including the part at the end where you talk about jumping with a portable battery and the differences with jumping that way.

Ad*****:

For an easy way to remember which is first, remember “red to dead”

Jh*****************:

Three words... excruciatingly detailed help.... Meaning very helpful Thanks man

Fr****:

cant believe i found this video useful at 4 am

Ho***********:
Thank you!! Love how simple and easy this was to follow

no********:

The one thing i don't think you mentioned is to turn off everything electrical on the dead battery car. Headlights, radio, AC/heater etc. Gives it the best chance as nothing else is putting a load on the system when you try and start it up.

Fl******:
thanks! my car owes me gas money, so I'm jumping it tomorrow night

Da************:

Hahahahaha I always look for a spark to see if it has connection man how am I still alive. Thank man

BB******:

Ive used this video 4 times in the past month. i think i’m a pro car-jumper now and all my training is credited to you

Kh*********:

One mistake to avoid: forgetting to charge the jumper. And regarding the cables: choose good quality, allowing enough amperes running through them. You're welcome

CL**************:
Very Well Explained Sir, Thank you..

Mi*************:
Glad you explained the explosion (i.e. not attaching ground to battery--instead to attach to strut tower).

Lu*****:
VERY VERY HELPFUL!! My son's friend left his headlights on all night! My husband wasn't home and my two sons and their friends didn't know how to jump start the car so I looked in my van and found the jumper cables and I went on You Tube and punched in how to jump start a car and yours was the first one to come up. It was my first time doing this and I LOVED LOVED how you explained EVERY step and the tips you added were helpful and good to know!! THANK YOU THANK YOU! I HOPE YOU KNOW HOW AWESOME YOU ARE!

Da****:

Three years later and this is still saving people in a pinch, just jumped my car. Thanks a bunch

Sa********:

Thank you so much. I usually ask my husband, but he passed away recently and I need a refresher on how to jump my truck. Your video was even more helpful than he was. You explained why you put the cables where and in what order.

al******:

Hey Chris! Me and my mates are big fans of your channel and work, we probably would rate you the best youtuber in the segment. Please keep those videos coming. Cheers!

You the man, ChrisFix. Jump successful. Thank you for the warnings throughout too. I always used to jump the car in a rushed way. But I was more careful this go-around!

Appreciate you, man!

Th************:
Thank you for this video, though when I connected the dead black to the grounding it scared the crap out of me because the car alarm sounded. lol.

Ve**********:
I have one of those jumper boxes - very convenient!
Good video!

Al***:

Oh I thought u just connected all the wires to the battery !! Didn't realise the last black one didn't go in the battery !! Great video thanks

Re*:
This looks super easy but I’m still scared to do it!!! Ughhh

Ma************:

Your details made the difference.

Cr***********:
I was really paranoid when I tried jump starting my Honda Passport off of my Civic for the first time though I was following the manual, but it did help me that I clipped the unconnected clips to parts like the air box or an old rubber car mat I had lying around before I connected them— that way I knew I wouldn’t be pulling them around and towards a metal surface
Edit: one location I look for to ground is especially like in my Passport if there is a large and visible air intake manifold/plenum on the top of the engine
