lu**********:
Two years ago this day, I was granted the opportunity to experience this moment at its epicenter. A surreal and dream like experience, which I believe profoundly elevated performance art into existing as One with Pop Culture. An unexplainable energy truly shifted a movement towards understanding and respecting the artist through a performance of life that even till this day isn't fully understood in its impact within music and art. The energy was also one that put the passion and love for pure creativity as its highest aim and intention. Celebrating what is sacred to all humans, in a way that is accessible and clear through its ingenuity. A defining ARTPOP moment. (Catch me on the left at the center left @3:20 ;) ) We could belong together.

Count on Gaga to have every detail of this performance planed and rehearsed (even the drink toss). The pushing crowd is absolutely scripted and the fact that a lot of people thought it was for real is the purpose of what she does, making you live a dream, a story, a fantasy and she is the absolute best to tell these stories. This whole show is such a great performance, I mean, it's Koons and Gaga!

Am*********:

This is ART, I miss this Gaga Gaga.

Sh******:

Ju********:

Fans in 2020?

Yo*********:
ARTPOP was ahead of its time. The concept is so interesting and unique. Warhol took ordinary objects and turned it into art to make a point that art can be anything. ARTPOP is a reversal of this through the medium of music. Gaga is using celebrity excess and imagery of such a lifestyle (Donatella, Jewels and Drugs, Aura, Artpop, Applause) and Greek/Roman/Renaissance art (Art that is considered fancy and prestigious and unique, songs like G.U.Y, Venus) and using it to make pop music (ART that is considered generic and "simple" by the masses). The cover art for the album also shows this. The background is a mixture of The Birth of Venus painting interwined with Gaga's performance of Venus. It is the birth of venus! The Gaga sculpture is meant to show she is a mould of the music industry and what we see is only a representation of what we want her to be. The ball is a reflection of various photogrpahers taking her photo and we see this while looking at her! She is being born as an artist of pop music!

mi*****:
Everything she does now SCREAMS first year art school student, and it's quite embarrassing.

Gu*****:

amo ARTPOP #Venezuela

La***********:

Sy********:

Sa***********:

Lady gaga queen of pop

Ti**********:

The best song Lady Gaga has ever done.

Ni*****:

Gaga's outfit was ahead of COVID-19 times

On******:
This is a custom-made Gareth Pugh piece that she's wearing, it's not garbage, in fact it's a very expensive piece of clothing and considered extremely fashionable as far as haute couture goes.

An************:

Sorry but its one of the best GaGa songs. And this album is perfect

Lu*******:

My favorite thing she's ever done when it comes to her fans is take that drink off the Koons. She's like a mom and all I can hear is, "bad, monster, no drinks on the artwork."

lu***:

WHEN SHE DROPPED HIS DRINK

Tr******************:
Damn there were some parts in the video where I had to bite my teeth, I got nervouse for her when all of the fans crowded her and her body guards are like "BACK UP!" like shit got real I remember being 10 feet from Lady Gaga at artRave almost 2 years ago! It was a beautiful time!!

st******:

Gaga is the only mainstream pop star who understands the importance of showmanship and theater in pop music.

gi*******:

CAN WE GO BACK TO 2013 PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE :'(

Me*********:

there's something so 80s about this - love it.

Ry*********:
Realizing now that this was literally performance art.

Ew*******:

I thought really deeply about this performance, at the beginning Gaga and her fans are connected without any boundaries, there's no gap between her and the audience, then as the performance carries on, her security (Who in my eyes represent the corporate world) are trying to keep her away from the little monsters, and she's rebelling, then by the end she's returned to the main stage and again is re-united with the fans, In my eyes the performance was an unintentional depiction of Gaga's relationship with the fans, and her ability to have 100% control over her relationship with the fans, and her career...nobody can control her

Mi***************:

I think this performance is so monumental for the pop culture and culture in general. It reflects her battle with society and certain norms of society. What is normal, what is not normal etc...being weird and different is the place where she feels safe and I feel the same way. And I am sure a lot of other people feel the same. Not fitting in, not being "cool" and not being like them makes you weird. That's what society is telling us through magazines, social media and media. Through this performance you can see she is physically struggling with the crowd, being dressed extraordinary and the audience is watching her like some kind of experiment almost laughing at her. At the end she comes to the stage and dancers rip her costume definition of breaking her character and who she is as a person. She is left broken on the floor looking just like anybody else. Being boring and ordinary but deep down sad and broken. It hurts me to watch her like that. She is amazing and one of kind. Thank you Gaga for giving us life and love and making us feel loved and not lonely.

to************:

Lady Gaga is above most of her fans, but her charm is like Evita, being a salvation of the people.  I saw Lady Gaga winning the New Now Next award on LOGO, an effort and attempt at stardom that was quite awkward, but very sincere.  I also saw her beginning in New York as a young, confidant girl who was comfortable in her own skin.  She possesses not only a talent and charm, but a true intellectual connection to humanity.  She is honest, and lives her life (as I see it) as an open book for all to read and gain experience that is beneficial not only to the reader, but to the world.
