Playtime Comments : [Insider] Former Bank Robber Breaks Down 11 Bank Heists In Movies | How Real Is It?

Gr*********:
5:54 Actually, no, no silent alarm.
Neil and crew broke the night before so that the alarm system would turn itself off 10 minutes before they entered the bank.
All the alarms were off. Two TELCOs and a cellular.

Ja***********:

LMAO RIGHT AS THE CARS CRASHED (17:42) I GOT A NATIONWIDE COMMERCIAL FOR INSURANCE

mo*****:
At 1:20 he wasn't "pumping himself up" he was realizing that he forgot his sunglasses that hid his face tattoos. Just a sign of things to come where this bank robbery didn't go as planned.

Ad***********:

19:16 This guy knows! Joe Navarro would probably approve that statement.

Ho********:

1:39, that wasnt what happened, he forgot his glasses so everyone could see his eyes, and if looked at from a certain angle they would see his whole face. Had nothing to do with "pumping himself up".

Ha**:

17:57 I just noticed the Marine sticker on his truck still has the applicator part attached

Do*****:

5:34 Yeah this was “basically” an reminiscent moment for the former bank robber lmao

wi***************:
4:25 the only reason the guy had a shotgun was because it was a bank run by criminals

Ni*******:

11:30
"This is not the robber you're looking for"
classic weaponized charm.

Ah*****************:

4:26 it's in Gotham, so it's understandable

You can tell he knows what he’s doing when he said he turned himself in and not caught

Ka*********:
I hope the relative he was trying to save by robbing those banks was okay. I've heard so many horrible stories about things that have happened to people who owed money to organised crime and didn't pay up. :(

je********:

In the film Heat, the camera's were turned off 20 minutes before thay entered the Bank.

no***:
They're trolling us at this point lmao

Ja*********:

As someone who has worked in a bank and have heard stories from coworkers about their experiences with hold ups, it's a bit surreal to hear from a bank robber his experiences. I know people who had guns put in their faces over money, and one who knew someone shot because the girl was so hysterical trying to explain that she couldn't open the vault by herself. It's a real fear for not terribly high paying work.

Ch******************:
That movie “The Town” was one of the best films I’ve ever seen.

al*******:

So you’re telling this Man turned himself in cause he was tired of never getting caught

Jo*****:
I like how they say “former bank robber”
It sounds more professional. Like it comes with a pension.

Ne*********:

Lol to be fair to the Dark Knight I'm pretty sure the bank manager had that shotgun because it was a bank run by the Falcone mob, I don't think they meant to suggest a normal manager would whip out a shotty and start taking names.

Ch*****:
This guy turned himself in too early. He speaks so fondly of his bank robbing days. Like he is about to relapse.

Ke*********:

This feels more like a tutorial than a warning against bank robbery

PA**********:

Next up: A dead man rates how realistic dying scenes are in movies/ tv shows.

Sc**********:
Dude didn’t even get caught, he turned himself in. The ultimate legend

Ja******:

I dont care about his ranking, I want to know more about him.

Is there one about hitmen? I find it fascinating that they even exist

Me*********:

>started bank robbing because a dear family member got into serious debt
>never killed anyone
>got so good at bank-robbing that he turned himself in to the fbi

They don't make thieves like this anymore.

Na**:
Plot twist : The "coaching company" is their weekly meeting preparing for the biggest heist of their lives

Kh*************:
This man is casually getting nostalgic vibes from the good ol days

In********:
“I created a coaching company that help people” and I tought he was gonna say know how to rob banks

AC**********:
this dude really was like "I was tired of not getting caught so I turned myself in"

Gr*********:
Money Heist: takes place in the Mint of Spain
This guy: “there is actually a bank in Spain that does flood like this if the other parts are triggered”

Aa**********:

This guy legit lived there life of “Cherry”

Gu********:

It’s a mafia bank. That’s why the branch manager had a shotgun under his desk.
