Literally rocked my 5 year old while he slept, while playing this song. Truly focusing on the words and the strength motherhood pours into our children. It is real. In my truest opinion Beyonce is a Queen because she's stepped into her full power as a woman. I am too, and there are so many others out there answering their personal call; both Male and Female-


I feel compelled to say this: If you see it, feel it, notice it then it is your responsibility to end generational trauma in your familial ties. That's the call. You're awake, so go and change that shit. <3




The album cover itself is super symbolic and powerful. Like the serpent biting its own tale (Started to correct "Tale" to "Tail" but honestly, in the case of symbolism; TALE vibes so much better with the message) - it represents the balances of life itself. See how the vibrant lion bites the tail of the dead lion? Rebirth, regeneration, restoration, resurrection, life force, constant flow, abundance, and STRONG foundation coming from past lessons, ancestral strength, familial ties.. If that shit is weakened by trauma WHAT ARE YOU STANDING ON?. We feed on our past babes. Ooooh this shit got me!! <3<3<3 Energy cannot be created or destroyed my love so where does your energy come from? Is it focused, is it clear, is it hanging onto things that must be left to die in order to propel you and yours forward into new grounds? Restore your foundation baby, you deserve it and your legacy does too!

Here after watching "Black is King" earlier today. I thought it had beautiful cinematography and the songs were just beautiful. I liked some more than others, but so does everyone when it comes to an album. I don't understand why it's so controversial and this is coming from a conservative. I interpreted it has a beautiful tribute to her children mainly her son. Don't many mothers see their children as princes/princess/kings/queens of their life? I didn't see it as literal. It is a good message for other mothers/fathers with children of color to tell them that they are royalty in their eyes and they are meant for bigger things with hard work. My favorite songs were this one, Brown Skin Girl, and the last song. I have liked Brown Skin Girl since it came out and was happily surprised when it started playing in the movie. I enjoy that song because it is something she especially made for her daughter and can be shared with other girls that don't feel beautiful. I found it absolutely ridiculous that anyone could ever call that precious girl anything other than beautiful. Have they seen her mother? How could she be anything less? But over all the movie and the songs are great. Can people for once stop taking things to be literal and just enjoy the beautiful music, cinematography, and message behind it?
