12*******:

Chris, when are you going to show a single bad video?  How in the world can you keep on hitting home runs on every single ball?

Seriously, I am with you; I too was expecting much better results than what you got here.  I did similar test with Seafoam but I measured intake vacuum and intake end cap residue as before and after and I was not too impressed with the objective test.  Nevertheless I thought my vehicle ran better afterwards!

UL************:

we live close maybe you can be my mechanic now lol love your stuff man! ive learned alot from your vids still nervous to do stuff but eventually i will

Ke*********:
you have to use it 3 or 4 tank fills for it to get most of it out. it does work

Ab*******:
I think you should try the cleaner on a high speed driving (on traveling mostly)
Believe me it will make a difference

Ra*********:
Damn GOOD video! Love your step by steps check for the best products. Keep up the good work.

Mi*******:
"some" improvement but it's only after one tank. I would think doing this for 5,6 tanks + gummout would give a fairer test.

Er***:
My personal favorite is Berryman b12 chemtool.  It's inexpensive and very strong. Be sure not to get it on paint, as it will take some paint off.  I remember seeing a test online that it was one of the most effective fuel system solvents in an independent test that did not harm the nylon sock on the fuel pump. When I removed my intake manifold after running a tank with B12 the intake runners were spotless.

Ma*********:

i recently started using Lucas, great timing for this!

Se********:

I think if you ran this every oil change on a new car, it would keep the piston heads from getting this way. One bottle probably won't fix it but using it regularly could prevent fuel system build up.

ro*******:

After watching, I would not buy. Great video, very honest study, enjoyed very much!  I too, thought there would be better results.  makes me think of the term, "Snake Oil", Peace!

NA******************:

Sea foam destroyed my engine i have the before an dsd after chris you can check it out the sea foam works to good

WS***********:

It's amazing that there is a camera that can see down into an engin but not one that could see Jeffery Epstein "killing himself".

en*******:

I believe products like these are more for a "Maintaining" purpose to avoid the build up from the start. Just a thought lol.

wt***:
2014: Hey guys, chris fix here
2019: HAY GUISEEE CHRIS FIX HERE

es*****:
Hold on, let me pause to give the thumbs up before I forget. I like unsponsored reviews as I feel that this is the only way to get an honest review. Now, to continue.

Ma********:
hey Chris , gracias por estos videos realmente nos ayudan bastante , son muy buenos , gracias.

Ph*****:
Is there a product you can spray in the cylinder when you have the spark plugs out? Seems like a situation when letting it soak in might help

Ky*****:
Use redline cleaner. The active ingredient that removes carbon is about 3% in Gumout. Redline it’s 50%

Na************:

Chris, this has got to be one of THE most thorough videos I've seen on this topic. Your use of the camera with pictures before and after were priceless. I'm not a mechanic but have basic working knowledge and this video cleared things up for me. Despite the results, I'll still use Gumout for my '99 Jeep and see how it goes. I can only assume that repeated use of Gumout might get the heavier stuff out over time. Thanks for the video and consider me a subscriber!

Da**********:
Who has a brand new car and still watching Chris? Love these videos.

Br************:

This mazda must run like a dream because this guy does alot of videos on this car

No********:

At first glance I thought you were holding up a bottle of hot sauce.

Jo*********:

Looks like it would be great for maintenance but not for restoring an old engine or something like that.

Si*********:

doesn't that black shiny carbon turn into the big carbon crystals over time? the instructions appear to indicate that it will KEEP the engine clean when it's used every oil change which would make sense if it removed the soft carbon sludge every time before it has a chance to crystallize onto the cylinder

ed***********:
Just keep using it will clean along with top tier fuel .

Vi*************:
O cilindro 5 estava muito sujo, talvez injetando diretamente teria um efeito melhor!

Th*******:
if you'd poured gumout directly into each cylinder and let it sit over night (or some other period) would it have made any greater difference?

Ju********:
So seafoam and then gum out should clean my engine out real good

Br****:
Only 210 miles on a tank of gas? YIKES! I think you need a few more bottles of that engine cleaner.

Br******:

What this video taught me is that a boroscope is a better investment than GumOut.

ri*************:
i think the point of the additive is to remove the soft carbon before it hardens so i needs to be used regurlarly from day 1 not after it accumulates and hardens over 120k miles

Bo*******:

Outstanding video-- clear, well-scripted, and to the point. Even to the point of "bending over backwards" to be fair to the maker of GumOut by running the test again. Of course, now that I have seen another of your product reviews, I am really glad to have subscribed-- I plan to watch all of them, as soon as possible.

Your video series is actually close in quality to a Consumer Reports article., and am reassured about the high-return on my investment of time. Once again, thank you for your own investment of time and energy in these videos.

* Just curious-- what video editor do you prefer? What is your video camera?

Pr***********:

ChrisFix should do a video where he takes the head off and uses a plastic scraper to get rid of the carbon

Ri******:
I highly recommended you to use Liqui-Moly next time.

WP***********:

Much love Chris, thank you for the time and efforts put into your videos, always!

Gr*************:

On the upside, your cross hatching looks fantastic on the cylinder walls lol. Any idea why number 5 has so much build up? Sticky injector or plug not firing well?

si*********:
o my gosh, I tought I have seen every video of you but here you are! What a supprise. I have only seen 2 seconds of this video but this will be a complete video, I am sure.
