Chris, as always, a great, confidence-inspiring video! One suggestion, it would be helpful if you would mention approximately how long the task takes (or a range of time: for example. Average time to complete both strut replacements is 2-4 hours) just would be helpful to know for us “Shade-tree mechanics”

If you don't replace them in pairs, then you'll end up having a car that looks like Rasputia is driving it. LOL You can also experience clicking sounds when driving straight over bumps if the upper bushing/bolts are worn or loose.

Turns out my neighbor didn't like me practicing on his car at 315 in the morning !

Love your videos!
Must say that after installing Monroe "quick struts" I'm super disappointed.
They held up for a month and now they are flat.
Went back to to seller trying to convince him to replace them, seller said that if struts are not leaking than there is nothing wrong with them.
Now when I drive the car it sounds like all the ball joints are worn out and the vehicle is falling apart.
Not to mention braking distance and acceleration are badly influenced by the bad struts.
After 15 years working as mechanic I would recommend KYB, Billstein, koni as a oem replacement.
Quick struts are nice solution but but not best .
