You a great Guy Chris!

Ja********:

lol good guy chris with the flip donation. Hey boss i was wondering if you had any videos about cars that wont come out of park. Im running through your playlists right now but just wondering if you could point me in the right direction haha. I know how to manualy unlock the gear select just trying to find the proplem so i can fix it. Thanks for the great videos man and have a good day. (sorry for being another question in a sea of questions lol)

di*****:

Your a great guy Chris, but you should've donated that money at an actual organization. At my work we used to take donations for different charities, until someone was caught taking all the cash donations for themselves. But never the less, you have a great heart. Keep doing what you do. Thanks

GE**:
Not bad, but in Germany you even have to pay for throwing it to the Scrap Yard -.-

Da****:
When I saw that he donated all the money I was shocked. I was already a lifetime supporter but man.. Chris is probably the best Youtuber out there. Such a great guy

Ka*******:

Awww how sweet of you, donating the money to save "second base" LOL

Jo*****:

i should try this considering the fact I changed the breaks on my moms car, and what happens? she said since I fixed it she took it to a shop and they told her she needed breaks YET i changed the rotors, pads, that was just a rip off and like sucked she did not trust me since your video helped me :(

RJ*****:

Ma**:
Close I guessed $50.00

dk******:
I bought an old cast iron safe from a garage sale for 5 dollars. Took 4 of us to load it in my lifted truck. Took it to the scrap yard and made 95 dollars. Not to bad at all

Sh**************:
I have 3 truck beds filled full of those iron roders... should I sell?

Jo**********:
What a legend

AJ***********:
Way to go Chris.

SE***:

car batteries are the best. where i live i can get about 12 dollars per battery. i had one battery and two smaller agm ones. i got 30 dollars. not bad for junk.

Es*****:

thank you for your donation BTW means a lot !!!!

lo*********:
thanks for sharing and your donation, very kind of you.

Fu*******:

Nice one Chris, good of you to donate! I do this too but the garage is so full of stuff I'm struggling for space. I've made good money from selling off parts to other people on forums etc such as my old AC unit and suspension.

90***:
I literally just did this yesterday

Mo******:

Ahhhh all these lbs and other imperial thing make me crazy XD

ev****:
I've been watching your videos for a while now ( I'm one of those silent but supportive viewers) and I've truly learned a lot about my car. I even brag from time to time about the thingamajig that needs to be replaced, cleaned, repaired, or all of the above! I'm still in the proceeds of learning but couldn't be more grateful. I feel a lot safer and confident about the car I drive. Thanks, Chris!

Aa*********:

Yea I went to a scrap yard after my brakes. Recycled a total of 8 rotors and pads. Only made $6.

Pa*********:

About 255 pounds you had, and I turned in 650ish and got $18 (somewhere around 3 cents a pound) so I'm guessing you get $7?

Ho**********:
I load a big trailer with stuff and then I take the trailer. If i weigh everything on the trailer it would take me a day

Zu*******:
Now I want a pickup, so I can go pickup all the old railroad pieces laying around.

ph***:
I'm glad I found this channel

Fr******:

im sorry but im pretty sure that guy took the money ... anyone can write a donation post and stick it on the window .. i would have taken the money and went to a proper donation place and did it there.

Ch************:

Wait you get money for recycling metal? I'm in Canada and I need to pay to get my metal recycled.

Tr********:

There's a lot of places that give you core charges for alternators, starters ect. Sometimes as much as $8-10 a piece much more then scrap prices.

Bi*************:
Are you ever gonna do a video on how to turn used oil into fuel for diesel?

Ch**********:

Great tips dude! By the way it was SUPER noble of you to donate that money to the breast cancer charity.

Good on you for donating!

Vi*************:

I do that too & I bring my spray cans too

Je**********:
Great tip! I always do that. Beautiful attitude by donating your extra money.

ar*******:
Fuck yea bro. I scrap everything. just yesterday I was driving to work and someone through out an entire aluminum patio furniture set. I drive a full sized pick up so I pulled over, loaded it up which took less then 3 min. the key is to clean the metal, meaning cut off any plastic or non metal material. they will give you less money if its "dirty" ie is attached to non metal material. So I cut out all the mesh in the patio chairs which took another 5 min. took it to the scrap yard and walked out with $50 cash. for 7 min of work.

MX****:

Great tips for weighting before going to the scrapeyard.

I worked 3 months as receptionist in a scrapyard (A BIG one in our country... The leading one you know... Not Cletus' scrapyard if you know what i mean)

Long story short : They rip almost almost all customers on the weight ! They couldn't even see the weight displayed. I was told i had to rip them off too or leave.

The guys that were regular weren't rip off but all the others guys would be (even a old guy selling family stuff that would contain copper / brass and so)
