This song gives me chills my dad works 60 hours a week and I work 40 hours a week while still in highschool. I live in Kentucky it's hard work or nothing for me I am enlisting in the Marine corps in May to fallow my dream and help my family support.

My daddy drove a coal truck for years, both my grandpa's on both sides of the family were coal miners, and I think its awesome he's representing Kentucky in a great and honorable way. GO JIMMY ROSE!

I'm proud to be from the same little ole town as Jimmy. We definitely don't have much here but he absolutely represents us well. Jimmy and his family are super nice people and I'm happy that he made it to the finals and is following his dream. Since AGT, so many other people in our area have reached out to their dreams as well. He's been a great role model to others. I don't care if people don't like his music or whatever, but know that he has heart for what he does and that means more to him and everyone than people's negative comments about him. :D

I love the way how the American people is proud of its soldiers. I am always surprised by the claps when an American citizen says he served in the army. I really admire this patriotism because I belive that is one of the most important thing for a society. I'm a 18 year old French man, and I love my country, but I think the French people isn't proud enough of his homeland. When I see the way how the Americans are proud of their country, I am just moved.
Your country is beautiful. The American people is the son of freedom and unity. I admire your nation, your culture, your music and your national identity. Tocqueville's essay, De la Démocratie en Amérique, was a good reference for me to have a better understanding of "What is an American". But when I see a guy like Jimmy Rose, I think he is a good example of a reel American : country music, hard working, served in the military, proud of his country.
I am proud to be French. But I would be proud to be an american citizen. Continue to love your great country, in spite of the difficulties he has to face. My love affair with the American people began when I was a young boy. I know today that, somewhere inside me is germinating the vague idea that one day, I might make common cause with these warm and open folk, and eventually become one of them

People like you are the engine and heart beat of your country! I really hope this guy made it to some extent? I can’t find anything on google of him, can anyone help me out, I know it’s years old now the Audition, but I’ve only now seen it and he’s the exact reason along with a few others I’ve seen, is to why I’m pushing country on all my mates and the whole small town I live in and it’s making. Progress, everyone asks me to choose the juke box songs and gives me the money to do so it’s quite bizarre but I always put country songs on and everyone looks at me in confusion, while I’m line dancing to myself in the middle of every dance floor!
