I'm actually amazed... I've tried various brands of fuel additives and never was able to check it the way Chris did... Very nice test !!!

You should test e15, e10, and straight gas on a dyno and compare power potential for each fuel.

They want you to put gas after the additive so that the tiny amount will get washed down the filler tube.

I'm wondering if the 1/2 ounce dose of Maxx even made it down the fuel filler pipe to the tank. I would have sloshed a .5 gallon fuel to get the product to the tank. But that's just me....

I added some stuff to my b16a1 crx vtec engine and before I had 150hp

After I had 300hp
Double the amount of power.
I added a turbo hehehe

I have seen the same and bigger jumps on the same dyno, same car, same day, same and slightly different times. Standard error shows it to be too close to be statistically supported.

i was actually pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a small growth of HP if any. Something like 2 or 3 HP

What's interesting to me is the power curve. Is the drop in power just before 6000 the cams switching? The little shove you get with vtec is pretty cool.

Might sound dumb, but a lot of honda guys run open header. You should dyno the civic si with and without open header to see if it makes a difference. There was a big debate about it on the 8th gen forum not to long ago. But i dont think anyone did a dyno. That video would get you a lot more subscribers.

If you do it try with the axel back off as well, i see a lot of people say that helps increase power as well.
