Welcome to another episode of: “Where the quarantine has lead me today”

Ju******************:
You mentioned in this video how having someone look at you could make a person nervous. When I heard you say that I thought back in 1983 when I was a courier driver for a small company, and our union was the teamsters. Now I have no idea if the mob back in 83 was still influencing the union or not but we had a problem with our employer, and we were visited by two representatives of the union to hear what we had to say, and just let them know what was happening that had us almost go on strike.

Well, the two men who did arrive looked just like what you would expect mobsters to look like (I'm not saying that these two gentlemen were part of the mob). These two guys were hugh, and very intimidating. I mean they scared the living daylights out of us. They not only looked the part but they spoke, and acted just like you see in the movies. Now the person who did all the listening, and speaking I have to say he had a way when he spoke that reassured us, but also he had a tone that said don't mess around here, and don't lie.

Mind you things went well after that (with our employer) but I'm not kidding you, these two guys scared us to death, and the mood in the room when they walked in literally changed from being light hearted to a very serious note. I'm thankful I never met them again because if I saw them on the street I would have walked the other way.
