the real challenge is reaching for one while in the shower and trying to not get literally all the other pods wet so they would not dissolve into a big pool of soap.

This tide pot trend is getting out of hand

I still wanna touch it

Bi*****:

Personally I think your business would be successful if u made the pods cheaper. 15 pods for 7.49 is too expensive I could go buy a shampoo bottle for 5 dollors and it would last at least a month. Those pods will only last 15 days

(Yoooo I know 23 likes isn't a lot but that's the most I HAVE EVER GOTTEN)

Le*********:

And im 14 years old over here struggling with a math equation....

Ci******:
ummm lush has solid shampoo bars that last up to 3 months... and they are only $10-$15

Ki******:

there are already shampoos out there in solid form, looking just like soaps but made with sulfates (not all are harsh or bad!). you can wash your hair up to 100 times with a solid shampoo and it costs way less than these pods. plus: it doesn't need any packaging, at least the ones i use from lush. you can store yours in a tin box or tupper ware or just lay it on a soap dish. they are also very handy and don't need much space.
edit: for people who say that sulphates are bad: actually majority of shampoos contain them. probably the one you use right now, too. and i guess these pods do, too. there are different kind of sulphates or detergents. more or lesser harsh. and even some which aren't harsh at all. but those are also the kind of detergents which don't lather up much and aren't prefered by many people.
i just discovered the website of the drops, they claim they don't use any sulfates. but i couldn't find any other information. so i don't know what they are using (and yes, there are some claimed to be harmless but actually quite harmful other detergents). that doesn't mean i am against this product overall. actually, even if there are missing information, i'd prefer it over a lot of other brands already. but they are too pricey right now.
besides of that, i want to compare this with a product i am already using and not with a bad product: a solid shampoo bar takes up less space than these pods. i don't think a box of 100 pods takes any less of space (and weight, as it still contains water) than a big bottle of shampoo. space and weight is also a relevant aspect when it comes to environment. for example: the bigger the product the less you can transport with one vehicle, the more transportation it needs, the more gas pollution it causes. besides of that, the drops have a biodegradable plant based plastic coating. of course it is better than the other kinds of plastic. but the best is no plastic at all. also because we don't know how long it takes to biodegrade it.
btw comparing or questioning a product is not judging it. i don't say that this product is bad nor good. there aren't enough information anyway. but based on what this video shows, i can compare with products that in my opinion are a bit more environmentally friendly. maybe this also can help making a product even better.
and for those, who say the product isn't finished yet: they already know how much it costs, so i guess it is finished. wish there were more informations about packaging and ingredients. especially if you adress a product as more environmentally friendly, people want to know how in detail.

Cl******:

3b-4c people over here having a hearty laugh and cackling away... if I were to use this, I would be broke, like I'd rather be bald than use this, it's not because it's a bad product, it's a great idea actually, but I have 4c hair and one month's supply wouldn't be enough for a month for me... and Idk if it woild work well in my hair... butif you can afford it and it can work work for hair, I say go for it

gi**:
Haha, while that's great and all... He can't beat me. I'm 14 and I watched an entire season of Grey's Anatomy in two days by pulling all-nighters. I am clearly much more accomplished.

I wonder if we have solluble toothpaste
Just put it in your mouth and brush your teeth

bi************:

With 1 pod I can wash my eyebrows
I will need like 8-10 pods to wash my hair

Pa*********:

Look guys, the boy is 14. Instead of stating the obvious flaws, such as the pricing or the size, can we all just take a second to let go of our pride and appreciate the fact that this person is actually taking the first steps to changing the world? Everyone in this comment section honestly needs to swallow their pride. Just because a young man half your age has probably done something more meaningful and contributive to the world then you’ll ever do, it doesn’t give you the right to shun his efforts and ingenuity

me*********:

God bless you angel boy for coming up with this amazing idea....u didnt need to .....and u could've ignored all the disastrous effects of waste on our planet just like most people ....but u still chose to care...all the best for your future, may you achieve utmost success and actually end up saving the environment....don't listen to the haters, just keep going and improving your ideas and techniques

Ro*******:

I use solid shapoo and conditioner which saves water too and is hella cheaper... Like i buy my shampoo from lush its a bit pricey but it lasts forever. For me it lasts about 2 to 3 month's if not longer( sometimes it falls into the bath and melts a bit so oops) just to anyone who thought this was too expensive or impractical but still wants to cut down on plastic try solid products.

Av****:

now let's wait for the plastic-free shampoo challenge replace the tide pod

ta*****:

Wakes up one morning: Mom, I want to make waste free shampoo!

Na*********:

I love this guy so much cause this shampoo made me want to buy it cause I use a drugstore shampoo, and I said to my mom "can I stop using a drugstore shampoo cause I want to buy his shampoo it looks satisfying so please can I buy it". but the problem is I live in Indonesia and I don't have a clue how to buy it but my mom said we need to save money. So good job its actually saving the planet. I like how you chose to make this shampoo cause I put the URL in my website, thank you so much for making this shampoo cause u saved the planet
