Halfway through the first ep. i wasnt sure what im waching, had to look up wtf this deranged show is.. holy crap its a REALITY crime documentary.
This story finally concludes my opinion that theres something seriously schizophrenicly wrong with america.

They’re all insane. Joe seemed the craziest at first but then once they start talking to Carole about how her husband disappeared (she did it!) it’s amazing to see how she’s so so obviously a psychopath capable of some really bad shit. That other guy with three wives riding elephants down his driveway has mastered the art of the cult leader, holy shit he gives off some rapey vibes

CAROL cant even look at people interviewing her when she talks about her husbands dissapearance, she blinks her eyes rapidly and avoids eye contact, nervous laughter. she is most def lying

This show was insane. But amidst all the drama that unfolded, I feel like the most important thing was losing its focus. And that is the well being of the animals. It broke my heart to see that one scene where joe was taking the newborn cub from its mama and just considering them money magnets.
I was glad to see that they gave some attention to the cats again in the end. But more captive tigers in the US alone than in the wild??? And the Big Cat Safety Act that didn’t pass?? Simply outrageous.
I was already amazed by the fact that you’re allowed to have an exotic animal as a pet in the United States...

Season 2 spoiler alert: Joe Exotic does a prison break and whilst on the the run proves Carole actually shot Travis, Carole goes to jail while her ex-husband comes out of hiding and marries Joe on the roof of Trump Towers.

I have plenty questions lol
Why isn't the rest of the people in jail but only only Joe is? Yh he has done some shit stuff but he doesn't deserve to be in jail for that long. I don't think he had the tigers only for the money making. Why Baskin is allowed to have her cats in the cages like that than? She is pretending to help the animals but they aren't in good environment eather. I can't stand the women, clearly she has more informations about her Ex husband and those other two guys can't remember the name ( Fat one and the one that acts like he is still 20) are just filthy rats. Anyways R. I. P Travis
