It definitely should have been a mini series instead of a TV movie. The story of Robert de Bruce is so fascinating.

Watched it with my friend on a whim and loved it. Halfway through I asked my friend, "damn haha, how long is episode 1?" and he was like "it's a movie... not a show" and I was destroyed. It was so good, but I easily could've handled like six to eight more hours of Chris Pine being a Scottish badass.
Still amazing though.

I watched this movie with my father , he is a braveheart fan so I was sure he would love this one , he cried at the end , one of the best movies I have ever watched!!!

James 'the black' Douglas became such a bogeyman in England mothers would sing to their children.

I just saw this movie yesterday and I have to say that this was probably ONE THE BEST movies about older eras which I have ever seen!

And I have seen a bunches of those kinds of movies since Im really into it. I think Netflix really did a good job here together with the movie production team! I really like the fact that they don't make it as cliché as many other ancient time movies. This was feels bit more real, in both battles and plot.

Good job to you guys and also the actors and actresses in the movie! Very well done, this movie Netflix can be proud over!

As someone who is born in Scotland Chris Pine did a great job of the Scottish accent way better than Mel Gibson in Braveheart....

OH my God, this is like the sequence of the Brave Heart movie. I just wish that this is historically accurate.
