I love how there was no bad characters like a real villain in this series as everyone were just trying to fight their own battles, and didn't mean no harm to one another. But i guess how you respond to your inner demons and actions can have lots of consequences on you and people surrounding you.

Just binged it, what a masterpiece, mind-blowing really. Great cast, fresh, creative and unique, which is way riskier than the usual cliche plots these networks keep making. Also helped that the storytelling is not dumbed down to the masses, and it has this feeling hard that is hard to explain, this retro mixed in with present and future vibe. The risk the producers took, completely paid off with this show, from start to finish it kept me glued to the TV wanting to see what would happen next.

MAKES THIS AN ANTHOLOGY SERIES IN THE SAME UNIVERSE!! Make it like a sort of remix of black mirror where instead of the existential musings of technology's place in the future make it about self improvement through human interactions and connections following a new duo and/or group of main characters in this new version of America with each season.

This show might top Black Mirror for me, which says a lot because I’ve been convinced that no show could ever do that. I never imagined Emma Stone and Jonah Hill could deliver such a believable connection and stunning performance. I just wish it wasn’t over.

Its amazing how the creators of the show were able to knit the emotions together, the show comprises of everything ranging from love, family, relationship, friends, compassion which is bonding with sci-fi also staying relevant on the mental situation of troubled folks across their life. This is an absolute masterpiece of a show. Jonah Hill and Emma Stone are so so good to watch. One of the best shows i have seen recently. Netflix, keep these shows coming and my monthly pay will not stop. Cheers !!

One a side note, I hope both Jonah and Emma win Emmys and/or Golden Globes for their role in this show. Loved watching them act the hell outta themselves especially Jonah's character who totally made me believe he was this depressed schizophreniac.

This was incredible, was instantly hooked. Jonah Hill was immense throughout, it's so good to see him in a more serious role.. absolutely class!

Every word I use would be insufficient to describe the greatness of the creators in
masterfully blending together a show about human emotions and connections with its unique visions. Maniac is a show that takes you on a trip that is emotional, funny and trippy in nature. It takes you on a otherworldly experience, as the characters also do, and makes them face their truths. Cary Joji Fukunaga having directed all the episodes and a co-writer of the series brings a consistency in its vision and pace. And the one take long shot of Emma Stone just being a secret badass agent is fun to watch. The show is in the end about love, loss and accepting the pain of a loved one's loss or doing what is right, facing your demons and moving forward. With its blend of unique storytelling and writing, and its fantastic set pieces, music and the performances by the forever excellent Emma Stone, the exceptional Jonah Hill and the brilliant Justin Theroux elevates the show to greatness. And I would everyone recommend to watch it. Its another hit for Netflix.
