I’m sick of seeing the comparisons to Game of Thrones. That was a piece of fiction while this is based on actual people and real life events (although the source are the plays by Shakespeare). And this time period may have been the inspiration for GOT.

It looks like some people need to be reminded that this is just a movie. A movie based on a classic, albeit ahistorical play, maybe some actual history as well. And yeah they've invented some things, romanticized it. That doesn't make it a bad movie. I guess some criticism from history enthusiasts is fine, but it doesn't seem like they were trying to make it historically accurate (at least not the plot), I haven't seen any claim that it was supposed to be. I also don't know about it being "francophobic" or whatever, because in a lot of ways the English were the bad guys in this.
Anyway I give it a 9/10. As a movie. Not as a history lesson.

p.s.- I could be wrong, but all the people bashing Timothee Chalamet and not knowing who he is are probably going to feel pretty dumb in a few years.
