This is something that will take a long time to create. I applaud Jim Hinson Co. and Netflix for taking their time. In an age of qantity over quality it is refreshing to see an organization strives for quality instead of quantity.

So here's something that makes me sad: A mini-flame war has started in the comment section because some of these people came here from TheOdd1sOut, and naturally, people are getting annoyed. And both sides are firing back, some insulting the guy, others saying that it doesn't matter, some trying to resolve the conflict and so on.

I don't care where you came from. If you found out about this from James, then like he said, it's never been a better time to join the Dark Crystal fandom. If you came here from knowing the movir from childhood, congratulations, Jim Henson's master puppet work has returned. If you don't know either, do your research on them.

But don't start screaming at each other because someone said something. I fully understand, Dark Crystal buffs, why the "Who came here from the Odd1sOut" comments would get annoying. But think about it this way: These are probably people who wouldn't have batted an eye for this announcement if it weren't for him. While the comments can be infuriating, these people might even watch the movie, buy the books, watch this nee series, all thanks to that one guy. I checked the video---he evenbsaid that it was thr best possible time to get into the Dark Crystal community.

So while the comments can be taxing, let's remember that they came from people with good intentions.
