I just finished episode 5 and I love it so far. They go a little deeper into Anne's past, but besides that it seems pretty true to the book. The girl who plays Anne is doing a great job but I LOVE Matthew. I feel like this actor really gets him, and makes you fall in love with him. And for those saying blah blah wont watch it cause of the 80s one, that's trash. Just because you loved one remake doesn't mean you cant love another. I agree that the 80s one was great and will be really hard to top, but you have to give new things a try. It's a classic book so there will be many adaptations after this one as well. Just view it as it's own thing and give it a try.

Before you start watching this series, I suggest you guys clear your hearts and minds about all the other adaptions of this book. I get that this one looks kinda grim, and dark, but in reality this is normal. They didn't change the book, they just filled in the "gaps" of the book realistically. Episode 1 was heartbreaking for me, and episode two was a bit dramatic, but all in all, you'll love it. Don't forget the other actors too. Personally I love the new Gilbert. I can't wait to see how their lovestory unfolds, and how this series goes. All in all, I'm excited as to what this series has to offer.

I cant believe they have cancelled this show and leaving other useless shows running, the show is beyond amazing. I just finished the 3 seasons in 2 days . Every thing is beautiful about the show characters, the nature and the lesson we learned from it . It just so sad they didn’t decide to renew it to another season !

This show is SO good. I'm sorry to the Baby Boomer Generation of adults who hate it because it's so raw- but this is the 21st century. And we like things raw. There is still so much childlike innocence in this series- why does every series or reenactment have to be EXACTLY parallel to previous works? Stupid. I've already cried three times watching this show. I love you, Anne of Green Gables!

Holy crap you guys are negative. First off, there were many Anne of Green Gables adaptations before the iconic 80s one, and I'm sure there will be many more hereafter. Second, I saw the first episode of this and LOVED it. It's faithful to the books but with its own flair, and in a way that is more engaging than the mediocre PBS adaptation from this fall. It has a couple of overhanded "THIS IS A FEMINIST ADAPTATION! CAN YOU TELL IT'S FEMINIST?!?" moments but overall it was gorgeous. Netflix, go ahead and take my money. Just please manage to adapt the whole series eventually! All the books deserve to be told!

I will proceed to give my opinions on why there should be an Anne with an E Season 4:
Anne with an E is such a beautiful show. The cinematography is gorgeous, the actors are stunning, the costumes, the words, and most importantly the message. It gives such a beautiful perspective of daily life. Anne finds beauty in things I would have never noticed if it wasn´t for this show. This show made me realise so many things about my life. This show teaches on how to fight for what´s right, to follow your passions, to love gracefully, to be kind, to be honorous, and it does this with such an indescrpitible grace. Although, it doesn´t feel right for it to be over with Season 3. Here´s why: there are lots of characters and situations and have the potencial to be more developed, since it seems like they´re unfinished, incompletes. With Season 4, I know they will be correctly developed because of how amazing the director is, and I fully trust them. So please, don´t leave the fans incomplete. Give the show a good closure (if it´s ending, I´d love it if it had way more seasons lol).
In the meanwhile, we will keep insisting on this matter, and (I hope) we will not give up until we have the show back.

This show was really one of the masterpiece on Netflix. For me top 1 on Netflix was 13 Reasons Why, Until I saw Anne with an E. 13RW opened my eyes and helped a lot. But Anne with an E open my mind. Being happy for little things and etc. 1 season was really good(10/10), every moment was great. 2 season was normal, not good, not bad(7/10). 3 season was really good like first(10/10). I read something about continue in the books.. From one way I think It is good we dont get more seasons. But otherwise I think It can be cool. Afterall I think the story of Netflix Anne was very good. We saw the little girl growning into a women. She had no family, no friends and no freedom of herself. Now she has a big loving family, trust friends, boyfriend, school. Her futere is in her arms and I think this moment should end like this. Anne happy the end of her story :))

I love everything about this series. Especially the aesthetic and beautiful country-side scenery and cinematography. It's like a breath of fresh air, I love them so much. A feel-good series to me :) I feel oddly calm and happy while watching them. Other than that of course I love how adventurous Anne is. Though she talks too much, she spills some profound words. As English is my 2nd language, this series has taught me a lot already, right from the first episode. Anne's great determination also gets me. So is this series worth watching? Yes.
