Playtime Comments : [Vox] 친환경적으로 되는 것은 어렵지 않아야 합니다

Mr***:

1:29 that soap looks like a piece of dried leather from the 18 hundreds

me**********:
3:53 in the phillippines we still do that, if a store sell something with glass we give it back to them and they give us discount.

we*********:
France doesnt seem to exist according to vox 0:07

Mi*********:

3:54 We have that in Norway, but it doesn’t apply just for glass bottles, but for plastic bottles and cans too.

Edit: We call it pant, and we actually get money back from the machine we’re dropping it in.

Ow***********:

fun fact: that 10 cents you showed is actually $3 as it is a silver dime 2:51

el*********:

3:55 that system is used in mexico ( the plastic botyles are used as well) at least in my state.

ME**:
1:25 After using up the shampoo/conditioner/soap bottle, reuse it for something else!
1:49
What was 'that'?

Me******:

3:43 I disagree here, the government should be the ones responsible for services, such as recycling... especially glass.

An******************:

1:07 Norwegians who watch Newton will remeber this song.

ar***********:
7:55 they blocked off the accountnames, but not in the reply

The US: DID I HEAR TRASH?

Co*********:
"As long as it's free to pollute, nobody is going to stop doing it."

SB*******:
lol did downvoters even watch the video? It's actively blaming large companies rather than individual citizens

Ni**********:

"4 years of trash"

Sounds like my life since 2014.

Al******:
As much as i hate government regulation, I agree that this is one of the things that need to be regulated

xi********:
Fantastic video. An additional point Id like to make, if you believe in global warming on not, we should all be able to agree that we can't keep throwing away trash forever, unless we want to live in a dump.

Br*********:
When I was in Germany, I saw that the paper and plastic bags costs 1€ (a little bit over an American dollar) Everyone in the store had a reusable bag, and I was shocked.

Ze***********:
"to get better policies - you need to have public support, because politicians and businesses won't take action until people come together and demand it"

Individual effort matters!

do*****:

Her boyfriend must have a strong pull-out game

Os***********:

Imagine if every country pulled a California... Also I love this woman.

So*********:
Wtf there's no bag fee in the US? In France they charge you 70c for a plastic bag, I almost never get one

ar**:

she’s so proud of that jar

La***:

Bag fees have been a thing in Finland since 1942. I'm not making this up, this is real.

wh**********:
I really like this presenter, he genuinely seems enthusiastic about what he is talking about. More from him please!

Ja************:
That bottle system still happens in mexico, in the small mountain towns where my family is from. Sad America does not prioritize services like these

Ko********:

my Asian dad stores his Walmart plastic bags

30****************:

In Germany we have so called "Pfandflaschen". These are glass bottles where you pay a bit extra and then you return them to a "Pfandautomat". There you put the bottles in and get the money you payed extra back.

on****:
I live in Finland, and i can recycle pretty much anything, glass, metal, plastic, batteries etc..

Ma********:

Most “ recycled” items end up landfills these days

An****:

“Reduce emissions” ok we’ll use nuclear energy, is good “NO WE DONT WANT CLEAN ENERGY” hands down nuclear energy is the safest and cleanest energy source.

Us******:

I’m honestly so proud of CA

zi****:
so many critics and skeptics. that's why usa will never go green.

au**********:

the coffee cup situation is easier for me

I don't drink coffee

cl********:
Is it just me or does anybody else’s family put plastic bags in their drawers?

As****:
In Denmark you get money for returning bottles and is why 90% of bottles are recycled.
Cans: 15 cents
0.5L bottles: 22 cents
1L and up: 52 cents

An***********:
From a capitalist point of view, you can sell single use items infinitely more times than reusable ones. That's the problem

ze********:
I'm going green because Lauren's skin is flawless

Al*************:

The quality of the videos on this channel is just insane. Great work and thank you for talking about global warming.

Ma*************:

In the Netherlands and other parts of Europe we have a thing called "statiegeld", it roughly translates to "deposit", for every bottle you buy (plastic) you pay a small deposit for using the bottle, when you go grocery shopping the next day you can return the bottles and you'll get your deposit back. Almost all supermarkets also have a glass containers with a separate compartment for every colour of glass (green, clear and brown). The deposit encourages people to return these reusable bottles and it also helps companies to recycle them due to them being collected at a central-ish point, supermarkets. By the way, If you want to buy beer in the Netherlands you buy it in "een kratje", a crate, it also has deposit on it, this way the 24 bottles AND the crate get recycled, two big Dutch beer companies (Grolsch and Heineken) recently switched the production of their crates to be made out of recycled and recyclable materials, which is another step in a better direction. Although this sounds pretty good, we need to do a lot more to stop climate change all together.
