(Recommended)Popular Videos : [Veritasium] Celsius는 섭씨 온도를 발명하지 않았다

This time, I will review the popular YouTube videos.

These days, even if it's good to watch on YouTube, sometimes people skip it or don't watch it if it's too long.

When you watch Youtube, do you scroll and read the comments first?

To save your busy time, why don't you check out the fun contents, summary, and empathy comments of popular YouTube videos first and watch YouTube?

Playtime Comments : [Veritasium] Celsius는 섭씨 온도를 발명하지 않았다

Sh***********:

6:13 He said “degree Kelvin”. Inconceivable!

Li*************:
6:48,me thinking -Did all those scientists hav their names starting frm C?
One moment later:Oh so, it's C for Community!Good!

Ve*******:
0:40 I like how you use Bach as background music. Bach = true genius.

Ra******:
0:44 vsauce music intensifies.

Ka***:

0:25 There goes Michael's persona XD

Pa*********:
3:33 It’s « Jean-Pierre Christin » and not « Jeane »
Great vid anyway ;)

di*****:
00:05 - That cheeky look! :)

LK********:

You said "degree Kelvin" at around 6:13, that's blasphemy!

Br**********:
2:05 - "There is no objectively good reason...."

I think I might disagree. Numbers describe quantities, right? While the concepts of hot and cold aren't intrinsically numerical, the amount of kinetic energy something has is numerical. So, I think the fact that heat goes up as kinetic energy goes up is a good reason to assign higher numbers to hotter temperatures. Thoughts?

When Veritasium said ‘or is it’ I thought he’d become into Micheal version 2

Top Comments : [Veritasium] Celsius는 섭씨 온도를 발명하지 않았다

Fi******:

"When celsius died of tuberculosis in 1744 he was still using this inverted scale."

Where? In heaven?

Ha*******:

I tell bad chemistry jokes because all the good ones Argon....

TM************:
3:33 I thought he was going to say Polnareff

Za************:

So... Celsius invented the scale. He created the gradation and the points that would determine the 0 and 100 ....and some other guy just flipped it. A very minor adjustment.
Modern Linnaean taxonomy, is significantly different from what Carl Linnaeus originally wrote. The same can be said of Newtonian physics.
The Celsius scale was just flipped and that's pretty much it.

It**************:
Great, next thing you'll tell me that Degrassi High isn't named for Neil Degrassi Tyson

Gr*************:
But did miles per hour invent miles per hour

bi*******:
6:57 "hey, Veritasium is here" xD

Ju********:

Guys it's 17 degrees Carl

Ja***:

it was 25 degrees Carl outside today

ba*******:
When you filmed this, I was in the office building behind the yellow "celsius" building, working :) Pretty cool!

Ro*******************:

Next you'll tell me the stop sign wasn't invented by William F. Stop.

to*****:

Meanwhile in America - not a single SI-unit was given that day.
Fahrenheit, miles, ounce, "110V electricity". Its a wonder they actually use "seconds" and "hours"

Ju***************:
I'd prefer we would all switch to Kelvin... It would eliminate a lot of mistakes in chemistry exams. xD

Ke**********:

so did Fahrenheit create Fahrenheit

Pe*********:

Very nice video, but, you accidentally said "degree Kelvin", but, actually, a Kelvin is a unit, not a degree, so, you cannot say "a degree Kelvin". I hope you take this in consideration. This is not a complaint, just a quick note.

Pa**********:

Sorry dude I am really poor, but one day I will support your videos. but I like to watch them .

Ka*******:
I love the Vsauce "dive out of camera" move there at the end.

Ge*******:
This is well known.... if you are a Swede... We learn that Celsius had 100 at freezing and 0 at boiling...

Vo***:
Hi #Veritasium! I just want you to know that I really enjoy your videos. My sister writes everything down for me and I read it and then watch your video. I'm deaf but I'm very appreciative that you make videos like this. I want to be like you someday but teaching others history! OK, have a nice day V!

Sa*******:

Wait...did i just see michael not knowing something?!?!? That's impossible!!

Ca***********:

This news hit Michael so hard that now, years later, all he does is use Vsauce to sell his toys.

fl******:

This is just truly amazing. I thoroughly trust anything this channel produces like on a scale from 1/10, it's a 10. Always leave here with a sense of wonder and completion.. Just me I guess... John Pierre Christin, Hmmm wonder why I'm just learning this? Oh that's right It's Derek and he thrives on bringing news. Well played sir, well played.

De***********:
Wait, Michael got doesn't know something?

Vi*******:

and then there's Fahrenheit which is based on nothing?

Dm*****:

I thought Michael knew everything. You ruined it :(

Re********:
That scene at the beginning was obviously ruined by plot shield Mary Sue Derek Muller.
In reality, Michael Stevens would be like, "Really? You call that a fact? I know this since I was born, speaking of which, do you know when is the exact moment a human attains conciousness?" and Derek would melt away at what would follow next.
#MakeVeritasiumGreatagain

Th***********************************:

The rest of the world be like:Celsius didn't create Celsius!!
The USA:what??whos that??

Za***:
Michel: Are you kidding me?
Guy: no
Michel: I HAVE DICIDED I WANT TO DIE

Da**********:

Didn't see it among a brief scan of the comments, so I'll just point it out; that "German" Chemistry textbook at 4.14 is Swedish (it says "Translated from Swedish by F.Wöhler" [Friedrich Wöhler, who was at one time a student of Berzelius]), and that guy Jöns Jacob Berzelius is arguably one of our best contributers to chemistry; discovering Silicon, Thorium and a few other elements, writing that textbook that was widely used, inserting John Dalton's atomic theory into chemistry, introducing concepts like catalysis, and a bunch of other stuff.

Jo******:

did u know that it was charles linné (the one that flipped the celsius freezingpoint and the boilingpoint) who named mostly of all nature things like, flowers, stones, animals and a lot of more. He named the things in Latin with one first name and a middle name and then sorted it all up in families, he did that all over the world and was actually the first man in the world to explore the WHOLE sweden from north to south, and later on teached a lot of students to become biologists.

(almost all people (including me) from uppsala knows about this)
