Admit it. The political center is never fixed, and it has been continuously moving left. Harry Truman, who APPARENTLY is on the same level as Obama, is now considered conservative by many standards. Wanted to rigorously enforce immigration laws, etc. JFK was an avid gun enthusiast who openly and passionately advocated his support of the 2nd Amendment, and said there should be no subverting it in any way. Vox says that “Reagan raised taxes” but forget to mention that he lowered the taxes from 70% to 20-something %. There is literally the term “Reaganomics” coined after him because he lowered taxes. Raising them incrementally after lowering them enormously does mean much.

And oh, the minority should just shut up and let majority rule? That is why the legislative filibuster exists — the Republicans didn’t even consider eliminating it when they had majority power.

The Democrats literally made up the Russia Collusion Hoax to waste millions of dollars in a useless investigation. They claimed for four years that he was an “illegitimate president”. Not to mention that Garland would never be confirmed because he wouldn’t have the votes.

Admit it: both sides are blamed for a problem that each side blames the other because it is a problem that both sides have egged on and made worse over the years. No one wants to admit that because it doesn't fit their agenda and it makes their party seem weaker, helping the other. Just blaming a bipartisan problem on one part of the system that made it a problem is making it worse, not better and pushing us farther away from the solution. George Washington was right, this system is tearing us Americans apart from one another.
