Ma*******:

Ze*****:

If China and/or India are spending more energy supporting their own citizen then world citizen they're still helping 10-15% of the world population each...

Ha*******:
Lets be honest. Before clicking the video everybody knowed that us is not the country

Ig*******:

This title is so unfair. Simon's talk is just one of the most profound, brilliant, and intriguing talks I ever have seen not only on TED, not only on YouTube, mas in my life as a whole! Comments don't translate.

An************:

Qo*****:

Holy crap I can't believe how relevant this talk is 6 years later.

Da******:
USA destroyed lots of countries including mine for oil to make their military and citizens car works, it dont deserve the 21th rank.

sf***********:
update: Finland is in 1st place at the moment

Ia****************:

Finland has since taken the lead, followed by the Netherlands and then Ireland in 3rd.
A big L for New Zealand who dives from 4th place all the way down to 17th, thus cementing the western european hold on the top 10.

Further down on the list we can see that USA has fallen from the 21st spot down to 40th, just one spot above their rival team Russia.
Can the US turn it around for next season? Rumor has it that head coach Donald Trump might get fired in favor of Joe Biden, mostly known for being the assistant coach under Barrack Obama. Whoever will lead the team next season better bring their A-game to be able to deal with the impressive performance we've seen from the Russian Federation, jumping 44 spots from 95th to 41st.

Another crowd favorite making waves is China. China has made some big improvements in their line up, resulting them with a 46 position climb in the rankings, landing them firmly in 61st place.

Who shall prevail in the epic rivalry of USA and Russia? Can Canada move up one more spot to break the european dominance in the top 10? And will the red giant of the east continue their race towards the top?

Find out next season, only on Good Country Sports Network. Until then, be your goodest. I've been Com N. Tate, signing out

Ku**:

Mu*********:
The microphone rubbing on his beard give this whole presentation the unique vinyl touch. Love it :D
As a German who has been many times to Ireland working and travelling, I can say: I love Ireland a lot! You deserve it!

Gi*********:
The introduction and the current situation of the pandemic made me feel stupid.

Jo*********:

The fear of a global institution has been ever growing since the “dawn of time”, as each empire feared outside influence but instead incorporated it into their “corporation”. Since then there has been nationalization efforts to “preserve” what is considered essential to what the elites consider normative to their region. Yet as commerce, ideas, etc continue it is clear that we are all interdependent. Especially as technology grows and allows us further communication, it is no longer primitive word of mouth amongst clan members, no longer amongst printing press and abolition of prior stead fast organizations, no longer merely by telephone or teleprompter. There is no more such thing as “expropriation”- it is a normal circumstance since the dawn of civilization.

ha********:
I've looked at this a couple times now, and his method doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Some of the metrics lock out anyone that isn't an EU member or give them an artificial boost. Just the EU isn't actually... you know... good. Globally. EU members pay in a lot of money to charitable causes, but it's a great big slush fund with a lot of it also coming back to themselves. They're laundering the money and not giving nearly as much as it would seem. Which is a constant complaint of poorer nations in the EU. I don't agree with the amount of things tied to percentage of economy either. Some of it should be by percentage of population. There's also some things in there that are ethically questionable once drilled down to on an implementation level that's counted as a positive. Then there's instances on the list where we know some countries are outright lying and making stuff up, but the official numbers are the numbers reported unless proven otherwise. It's massively flawed.
