I don't know what I would love to do. But I get anxious about whether I am capable of doing what I want. Specially I get upset when I become a disappointment to myself or people who have hopes on me.

This is great info... IF... you don't already have a family to support or you have parents that are financially well off. Sometimes the things we hate doing keep a roof over your head and food on the table.

"Finding your passion" is such a first world problem. The majority of mankind is constantly struggling to survive and it's their passion to give their kids something to eat this evening. That's their passion, they don't have to think twice about it.

youve definitely got to find your interests as far as careers,

Scott died this past weekend while climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro during his extended vacation and world tour with his wife Chelsea (I don't have details yet). I never knew him personally, only through being Facebook friends online. He was truly someone I thought of as invincible--larger than life. Such an inspiring guy and such a beautiful soul. His light will undoubtedly continue to shine on through his legacy and the lives he touched along the way. Please keep his wife in your thoughts and prayers. <3

Share his positive message with all you know, and remember to Live Your Legend.

But I can't choose my environment. I am in school, subjected to this cookie cutter lifestyle where everything I learn must be straight off the syllabus and all my creativity is sucked out of me. I can't simply surround myself with inspiring people when there are none around me. I have 1 friend at the most. I wish everyone could move to San Fransisco and participate in awesome activities with awesome people but unfortunately there are so many people stuck in a cycle of poverty where it is impossible. I do think this is an inspiring speech, however the inspiration fades out after a few minutes once reality kicks in, and I seem to be more sad in realising that it is just not possible for everyone

Th****************:

Lack of physical passion is the #1 killer of success.
I recently wrote a paper on how passion was required to manifest choice mental and physical reality. After writing the paper I realized there are actually two kinds of passion, mental passion and physical passion. I've always had a lot of mental passion for my goals but upon examination, I was surprised to discover how very little physical passion I had. I've always had well defined goals but now I can see, little physical passion for going after them. My passion was all mental, all in my mind.

I'd like to offer an understanding that will help you overcome this silent killer of success. Listen up as we learn to build the physical passion necessary to pay for our goals.

Your true level of physical passion for any goal can be measured by the level of physical energy or desire you feel and display when you anticipate having it. In its purest form passion is energy. If you mentally want something in life but you're living a physical cycle of seemingly fruitless routine, odds are you don't have the available physical energy supply necessary for bringing about its manifestation.

Most people are productive but spend daily physical energy reserve just doing a regular routine. With all available energy spent on maintaining what you already have, how can you possibly incorporate something new that requires even more energy? Mentally we can see our physical goals and we want them in our lives, but we don't have the physical passion [physical energy] to take the necessary steps to obtain them. If we're honest with ourselves we're surrounded by opportunity, but we lack the physical passion [physical energy] to pursue these opportunities.

So, passion is energy. You need to generate physical energy to have physical passion. The best way to generate new physical energy in your life is to start an exercise routine. By walking, stretching, running or lifting weights daily, you manufacture within yourself physical energy. By starting an exercise routine or simply by increasing your present level of exercise, you start to manufacture more energy than your normal cycle requires. This extra physical energy can now be directed towards the fulfillment of your goals. With sufficient physical passion you'll find yourself being pushed towards your goals.

Whether you start an exercise routine or you just redistribute the energy you're already spending, to generate physical passion a supply of physical energy must be available. If you presently feel stuck in life, if you have little or no physical passion for your goals, most likely it's because your physical energy reserves are low or depleted. Start exercising today and build up the required currency [physical passion] to be able to pay for your goals.

When starting your exercise program be gentle. The first day could consist of only a 5-minute routine followed by a full shower. Each day increase workout time by a few minutes and within a month you'll have a full routine going. More importantly you'll be providing yourself with the raw energy you can now turn into physical passion and transform your reality. It's that simple.
[NOTE: Transformation does not in itself guarantee success.]

Start a daily exercise routine right now and quickly build your physical energy reserves. When it comes to finding the energy to start your exercise program, anyone can commit to 5-minutes. After that each day will look after itself. When you get down to it, success is a choice. When it comes to starting an exercise routine, only you can decide if it's worth it or not.

I watched this video, at first, thinking about how stupid all this blather was that this guy was spouting. All this motivational bullcrap. Then, I started to read the comments, realized this young man died, while probably pursing to live by the philosophy he believed in. Rest in Peace. May this lesson help me to leave behind my cynicism.

To all those who believe in realism and think he spoke bullshit, no great person ever thought normally. You have to be crazy, optimistic, fairytale believer to be there.

Amazing! This put some fire under my feet. Keep it moving. Thanks Scott!

Jo**********:

I think you can find it even without knowing that you are looking for it, its more natural way.
But to let that happen you have to learn to step out of routines, stop, open your mind and listen to your intuition in the back of your head whispering. Do what you enjoy doing, explore staff which fascinates you, stop planning your life and make use of everyday opportunities, do unexpected decisions, become a yesman sometimes and don't be afraid of failing, because failure is there to show you the right direction.

Your legacy will continue Scott!

The people responding in these comments that choose to complain about mundane things they see in the video or that are introducing all the reasons why they think the message is flawed or can't be done... Have already made their decision.

Qu********:
RIP Scott - Very inspiring fellow.
Here's the summary of his talk "What is the work you CAN'T NOT do?"

[1st step is to become an expert on yourself]
-Analyze your strengths, find out what you naturally enjoy doing.
-Discover your values: What is "Success" for you? Is it being very rich? Very healthy? Having a big family?
[2nd do the impossible]
-Challenge yourself more and more. The more you accomplish, the more you realize you CAN accomplish
[3rd surround yourself with the right people]
-Make friends with people who are positive and doing the things that you wish you could be doing. Your environment is definitely something you can change
-Do you have any negative people in your life? Get rid of them - they're not helping you

These are all things you can control, so figure out what it is you need to do and do it.

Hi. I'm a Korean middle school girl student. I'm fifteen years old. And I had been worrying about my future these days. Accidentally, I watched this clip in my school English class. After watching this clip, I felt many things from this clip. I thought, if I break out my limits, I can do anything. And I thought, I should recognize my possibility. Also, I thought I should find my merits and values. And I thought I will try to find what I like to do. And the solution is to think about my merits and values. Also, think about my interests or hobbies. This means I have to know myself well. Then, I can find what I like to do. I was impressed by this clip. And now I am relieved of some worries about my future with this clip. I hope many other people read my comments and press 'like' button on my comment. I hope my comments helped you a little. Thank you for reading my comment. I am not good at English, however, I would appreciate it if you could understand and read my comment. Thank you.
