It’s times like this where I feel caught in my arrogance that I am holding the worlds pain and I get to choose that I am the survivor that should be seen. It’s time I step into the shadow of my I (eye) relax my shoulders and love my face from within and absolutely in the mirror. I worry about my face from time to time, but there's one thing I've found that it makes it way easier to look at my face and be proud. I usually study my face in the mirror (lmao I'm not vain I swearz), but it's because I want to learn how faces look so I can draw them. So instead of viewing my face as pretty or not pretty, I'm looking at it through an anatomical point of view, and observing it. So in that way, I feel proud of my face for being human, with bone and muscle and skin and so many other factors I don't even know about, all working together to make a face. It's more like appreciating architecture than at pretty people, you know? I feel like everyone's face is beautiful in that way.
