Playtime Comments : [TEDx Talks] Consciousness -- the final frontier | Dada Gunamuktananda | TEDxNoosa 2014

Pr**********:
6:38 "This is not just wishful thinking" — but it probably is.

Tr**********:

"rather than trying to validate a world view that makes us sad and fearful of the future, I believe that we should be trying to validate a world view which gives us fulfilment and hope" 6:10
Why try to validate your views at all? Why do we have to be right?
It's okay to not know the answers, which is good, because nobody truly does.

Ro*********:
from 8:00 damn the story of keys is so mind blowing man

Ja**********:

2:20 Take your peak?

Mi**************:
@2:58 Rupert Sheldrake is actually quoting his friend Terence McKenna:
"Modern science is based on the principle: ‘Give us one free miracle and we’ll explain the rest.’ The one free miracle is the appearance of all the mass and energy in the universe and all the laws that govern it in a single instant from nothing."
-- Terence McKenna

Jo*******:

We need to look for what we are looking for in the right place even if it's hard to look for, It's easy to look outside, not so easy to look within
7:57

Ga***********:

6:40 In fact, [put any abstract idea that has nothing to do with reality here] is just as valid a premise as the essence of the Universe is matter. The only difference is that one can be sensed and the other can't.

Ve*********************:
14:30 Centring yourself

Ri***************:

"When I stop thinking then I really am" 9:08

Pa*******:
At 8:36 "In the same way, we're capable of comprehending the world around us ... The core of our being is not something that can even be spoken about let alone thought of". This reminds me on Gödel's incompleteness theorems. Mathematicians say the same as this yogi.

People! Listen to the man.
He is speaking a golden truth.

To**************:

To ALL THE PEOPLE complaining about the smacking noise of the mucus in his mouth just change the playback speed for normal to .75% or 1.25%. Youre welcome

kh********:

it's the best part to note that he is very calm, but what I liked the most is the "silence" in the end of his lecture before he said Thank you

Ri************:

What a lovely man. No fake vibes, no silly simper, just a straightforward gentleman. Greetings to you my brother.

Ki****************:

Great talk Dada. Good to see you spreading the love :-)

Ma************:
Strike "I think, therefore I am", and insert "when I stop thinking, then I really am". This goes beyond "think outside the box", because thinking it self is the box.

va******************:
Thank you man!
Great teaching of the reality that represent unity that we are all part of!

You didn't give me a moment of doubt about what you eloquently explained.

ia*********:

"its really really small compared to the size of the universe" thats what she said after she told me im her universe

JR***:
Brilliant! What a wonderful person.

Sr**********:

This is hands down the BEST influential piece of speech I've ever heard. I have been struggling with so much these days and I somehow feel like I really needed this. Thankyou for introducing us to actual peace. God bless

ch***********:

Can you imagine this man standing in the floor of Congress? I can.

Al****:

It's interesting to me...how many people are so against this man's IDEAS of being peaceful. What is that?

kL***:

Good lord those mics are to good , i hear mucus smacking on every word ....

Me********:

Me before psychedelics: What a load of hippie mumbo jumbo
After psychedelics: Sounds about right

Pe*******:
Just wow. I got tears in my eyes just before he started to talk about meditation and than again, while meditating. How awesome those little feelings are. Just a glimpse of the infinite bliss.

I wish everyone a beautiful transformation :)

So***:

This hit me deep. The meditation he guided in the video brought me to uncontrollable tears of relief and happiness.

Ge***:

"And I'd better throw in something from Einstein here -- just to give it a bit more oomph."

Underrated joke of the decade

Mi**********:
For those of you wondering why he keeps his arms so still and by his side most of the video, I believe my comment to someone else who noticed this may be able to shed some light..

It’s a result of having tamed your “monkey-mind.” Usually we unconsciously move about during speech as we are enthralled in whatever it is we are talking about; however through consistent meditation you become increasingly aware of subtleties that might often go unnoticed. His speech is about “consciousness” and it’s no secret that regular meditation can indeed lead to expanded consciousness and awareness which can explain his calm demeanor. It’s not by accident, I assure you of that, it’s a sign of having mastered the senses through constant presence and awareness. If you are in a constant flow state; aware of each and every compulsion you may experience in your daily life (such as flailing our arms around and pacing about meaninglessly) then you can simply choose not to allow them to have control over you, you can choose to keep your arms perfectly by your side as a testament to your self-discipline and as a way to suggest that it’s “what I have to say that is important and not how I look while saying it.”

I hope this was helpful! I’m terrible at explaining things simply.

Er************:

I m so excited my broken marriage has been restored. "We recently made up, even though it was difficult. It's been more than a month now, and everything feels like it's returned to normal. He has begun to treat me better, and it's been a healing process for both of us. The night mare that had lasted for almost 2 years before we broke up is finally over. It's like we fell in love all over again! We 've both put the past behind us, and are trying to move forward_ and for the first time in long time, the future look alot brighter.i can't express in world's how grateful I am Dr uduebor for revive it's like we 've finally rediscovered those things about each other that made us fall in love in the first place. All of the worry and stress has simply vanished. Thank you Dr uduebor for saving my broken marriage and bringing my husband back to me! " Me and my husband are living together happily again. All thanks to Dr uduebor.if you have any problem with hearth issues as well. Contact (*****@email.com) or Whatsapp (+2349044159370),,,

Wow! For the people who do not see where he is coming form or who have not experienced higher consciousness or who do not recognize we are all connected are drowning in your dying egos. For those who watch this with anger I encourage you to look past your bitterness and hurt and find that place inside yourselves where you can discover peace. I can't say I don't blame you for seeing as you do. The powers that be put a lot of money into brainwashing to control the way you think. You can create this "little" world for yourselves and think to yourselves that you know, but in the end you are just isolated and left alone, which must make you feel" awesome "because you don 't have to answer to anyone. In the end though you recognize the void, but you are too afraid to connect with what we are all a part of.
