The toilet paper should always be in the overhand "waterfall" position.

Marriage is the process of two people coming together to solve problems they didn't have before they were married.

Ge*******:
So you basically want me to sleep around, stay single & one day wake up all alone & old with zero chance of finding a decent man?
Thanks for the great advice

Marriage is over and men aren't going back.

JH****:

My ex and I didn't get along We'd fight about the weekend out with the boys: I didn't want her to go!

Mi*********:
Marriage never lasts, loyalty no longer exists, there is no shame in cheating, and that is sad.

Ma************:
TED has really lowered its standards.  This presentation was less about informing and more about entertaining with comic relief.  I kept waiting for the "meat" of the presentation - some deeper reason to make the marriage commitment.  All I heard were glib statistics - make sure your husband is fatter than you, exercise, don't hang around too many envious divorced people, don't watch romantic comedies, etc.  Then she finished it by bragging about her husband.  Yeah, the guy's hot, but what is that supposed to teach me about marriage?

Jo**:

A man isn't complete til he's married.

Then he's finished.

be*********:
My wife and I agree that the toilet paper goes over the top, so we're still married

Ha********:

Marriage is a business relationship ...ask any judge or "honest lawyer"

The internet is going to get men off the plantation. I think in some small way it will get government out of our pockets too. Mgtow

ar***:
You'll never truly know your woman, until you meet her in court!

he*******:
Of course it's kosher for the bride to murder the husband on the wedding cake. Let's see a picture where it's the other way around.

JH****:

Family court is very pro-female. Men should be wary of this

Mr****:
Marriage is a garden. If you are both lazy and not proactive to consciously weed and plant seeds, the garden will fester.
The four downfalls of marriage are 1) defensiveness 2) criticism 3) stonewalling 4) contempt
The four supports are the opposite: 1) openness/flexibility (release of fear/pride) 2) being encouraging 3) not being cold 4) compassion

Ma**********:
3 and 1/2 minutes of my life I’ll never get back. (couldn’t listen to any more of this High School level PowerPoint)

we********:
I pay very little attention to “what studies say”

Mr*:

Mrs Hudson: So its the big day then!!!
Sherlock: What big day?
Mrs Hudson: The wedding!!!...John and Mary are getting married!!!
Sherlock: Two people who are currently living together are about to attend church, throw a party, go on a short holiday and then carry on living...what's so great about that?
Mrs Hudson: Marriage changes people in ways you can't imagine.
Sherlock: As does a lethal injection.

Ch****:
The number one cause of divorce is marriage. Treat your spouse like they are married you get one result. Treat your spouse as if they are single the marriage will last much longer. A little advice from Grandpa

Do***************:

WE got married when I was twenty she was nineteen . Went through everything there is in life good times and bad . Have three boys that are men now and married . Grandchildren life is what you make of it we didn’t give anything up to be together . I guess my life and my wife would not be so full if we did not get married and not worth so much . We are not perfect we make mistakes . We did a lot of making changes to be happy . What my wife taught me over the years I needed and what I gave her the same ...I guess what I’m saying is don’t nock it don’t think it will not work for you ...We have been married for over forty three good years that we both would never regret. Loving someone for this time is the greatest life a couple could have ..I would not change my life for all the moneys in the world ..Please if your young don’t think you couldn’t be as happy as us. You can and it is like anything else in this world . It takes a lot of give and take change and growing up tougher .If we can do it you can too ...

Al*****:

As someone who has been unhappily married for a long time and has been happily married for a long time (I'm old) I have one thing to say. You can be far happier single than married to the wrong person. I stayed in a bad marriage for way too long because I didn't know that. While being married can bring love, companionship and purpose into your life it can also bring dread, isolation and hopelessness. There is no virtue in staying in a bad marriage. If your marriage is bad, fix it or end it. Staying unhappy the rest of your life is an awful choice.

bi*********:
The secret to being happily married is not needing to be happily married. I.e. you should be a 'complete person' all on your own, happy with yourself and with your life. If you happen to meet someone else who is a complete person, and you find that you are happier when they are around than when they are not - then you get married, and that marriage will last. Yesterday was my 24th wedding anniversary, and I adore my wife just as much as the day I married her. I get the impression she still adores me as well. If you are just getting married to check the box off your list of things you think you should do, your marriage will most likely fail. If you are just getting married because you feel incomplete as a person, your marriage will most likely fail. If you are just getting married to have kids, your marriage will most likely fail.
