But then you realize, you're not playing the piano, the piano is playing you. But then you also realize that it's not a piano that's playing you, it's a pianist that's playing you. = this piece

me- hey i wrote a piano piece!
Person- oh cool what key is it in?
Me- yes

X1********:

But what about the pattern of being random? It is rather consistent in this sense. You just sort of expect highish, middish and lowish notes at various intervals but in a somewhat consistent manner of time. Even if they tried to play with the time, it was rushed in a sense where it still remained consistent.

Additionally, they are forcing themselves to be confined to the repeating octaves or the piano. The correlations amongst all the notes are very strong since it is repeated octaves of intervals (I'm guessing equal temperament). The execution is so rigid and scientific that it still retains a form of musical quality which results in anticipation and relationships between past, present and future for the listener.
