Da********:
The mic he was wearing didn't pick up the audience, everyone calm down.

Po************:

He had jokes and nobody even gave a fake laugh, tough crowd

No*******************:
Plot twist: The secret service told TED to make this video so they could find out who clicked.

to***:
2019 and this is still around there was a dam del taco at area 51 like 3 weeks ago

Ke****:
Bryan Seely; thank you for your service! This is very interesting and eye-opening.

At*************:

The risks he took were extremely courageous. His freedom was truly at stake.

cd*****:

is there a update of this issue?

Ke********:
Edwards Snow Den

Lo*****************:
Sadly, I'm not at all surprised by Google's failure to take any meaningful action to address this problem. I run a number of mail servers and GMail has been one of the largest, most consistent sources of spam that they receive - almost all of it SEO/web dev spam from India. I did some testing recently and, 30 days later, more than 75% of the GMail addresses I'd reported to Google for spamming were still active. Though, "strangely," they had terminated 100% of the addresses that I'd reported with the option "this sender appears to be impersonating Google" - funny, that.

And, of course, there's the $500 million fine they received a few years ago thanks to their profiting from - and turning a blind eye to - ads for counterfeit pharmaceuticals.

Da***********:
The biggest risk he took was cracking jokes in front of the worlds most deadpan audience.

ge*:
the chaos that this man holds within him is more than i could ever hope to achieve

BH*:

Great clip. Still true in 2020. The ending was perfect.

Ma********:
Jesus tough crowd

Ma***:

He looks like a secret agent himself.

Jo**********:
When I was a teenager, I added my house to google maps. It was super easy, and I'm not surprised people started using that maliciously.

As************:
"Bryan seely, former grey hat hacker found dead by suicide with two shots to the back of the head"

ve******:
Grey-hat hacking done BEAUTIFULLY. This is the true hacker archetype. One of the best Hacking Ted talks I've seen.

Jo***********:
If you wanna get em to fix it just make a fake google headquarters and when people call just forward it to Bing. Make them realize how it feels to be in the receiving end.

Ar**********:

He seems like such a normal guy yet he stepped up to do something so selfless and pure! He may be a bit monotoned but you can hear the sincerity in his voice. It’s upsetting that big companies always get away with shameless deeds.

dn*****:

Can you write a program that repeatedly clicks the ads and puts the scammers out of business through infinite payouts to Google?

Th**********:

I was really expecting him to end it with "so I recorded more secret service phone calls"

we******:
Mr. Bryan Seely, if you ever read this message, I wanna let you know that I laughed.
I laughed.
A lot.

pe*********:
Alternative: everyone search up those scam adverts and click through.... scammer gets billed for thousands of clicks.... No sales though

Ky****:
Based on activity history, Google/YT suppressed this video for years.

Ma*******:
He loves Google, especially the SpaceX part!

Ni*********:
"Edward's Snow Den 2 (electric boogaloo)" is now open for business in the same location as the last

Le*:
hey mr. seely, this was super interesting,, i laughed a ton :)

Bi************:
what made me angry is that he didnt stand on the red carpet

Ma***********:
Someone made the shop building at my homeschool into "the juul room" on Google maps.
