"The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, he said:

“Man.
Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money.
Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health.
And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present;
the result being that he does not live in the present or the future;
he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.” "

That goes for the bigger picture of humanity and Earth as well...

I’m a Genuine Bhutanese since my Birth but I was evicted when I was one or two years. Had to leave a life of a refugee in eastern part of Nepal for more than two decades. I’m very fortunate of being Bhutanese refugee because where in the world many people even don’t know about it. I had hard time to survive as refugee but in next I had free school in English medium. At present I’m living in USA and Bhutan’s prime minister Tshering Tobgay came to my yard and sending messages to the world where I’m from.

Time flies and memories becomes stories.

When someone from a big country say's "we can save world but does nothing and put no efforts in it
People be like ....he should receive a noble prize but
When someone from a small country like us actually puts some efforts and tries its best to save the world.....
People be like.....they might have a dark past,we should dig it up and attack.....
Shame on those who doesn't know the story of the other sides and blame them!!
Our country recently experienced a flood and had many casualties and few deths but people around the world be like we didn't do anything to contribute to global warming/climate change!!
Huh seriously-
It is true that my country Bhutan has one nothing to contribute to global warming but we are facing the most of its effects and consequences!!
It's really the time for the world to mature up!!

Vi*********:

When I visited Bhutan, I, with my friends, were walking from Indian border to Bhutan. As soon as we entered the Bhutanese border, we were shocked to see the place. In India, the roads were polluted, traffics were not managed properly, but walking for few minutes to reach the Bhutanese border, the place was extremely clean, co-operative people and many things, that have remained only in dreams to be in a country, for which no words can describe how beautiful it was. Really, Bhutan is something that I wish every country to be like it.

Op********:
The Himalayan Kingdom Bhutan’s Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay gives a wonderful talk about how his small country created a carbon neutral (in fact Carbon Negative) environment and championing the cause for Climate change. Taking cue from his speech, policy makers and political leaders all over the world should create a sustainable economic model for each country as well as World to survive. Mixing fun with facts admirably, he delivers a speech that is simply awesome. Highly recommended for everyone. It’s a must watch TED Talk.
