One thing I learned last year; if I survive a nuclear war, I need to quickly stock up on toilet paper.

I remember back in my High School days, 1979 I believe, I was awoken by repeated sonic booms shaking my parents house.  One of my best friends father was a full bird col. in the USAF who left burning rubber trying to get to the local air base.  It turned out to be a false alarm where a Soviet spy satellite picked up a flash reflection and mistook it for a launch.  They went on high alert causing the US forces to freak and go on full alert.  Years later I found those booms were jets with nukes headed for Cuba.  Close one.
